Empties #12

This month's empties is so big that I am unable to do individual shots..
I also had to put the items on the floor as some of them were in danger of leaking everywhere!

Cheeky haul

Very picture heavy post, if that's your jam, please continue to read!

Basically I went to Blow Ltd at Covent Garden to get a blow dry, and I walked out with a bit of a haul.

Blow Ltd

A trip to Blow Dry Bar Ltd at Covent Garden left me significantly poorer.

I walked in, hoping for a blow dry, left with awesome hair, a quick makeover and a few goodies in my bag.
I took a snap in sunlight to show you the products on my face (which is essentially what I bought) but it was not a great shot of my blowdry as my scarf is making my hair go all funny!

Haircut

I had a haircut!
I returned to Vidal Sassoon Academy after almost 10 months. I last had a proper haircut in April 2014, and my mum trimmed my hair ever so slightly in December.
Here I am, trying to get a picture of my hair pre-cut but it's difficult with the black robe!

Massive Boots Haul

I picked up so many things because I wanted to get the extra 500 points when I spend £50 that I ended up spending way more than that, and there were items which I set out to buy which were unavailable in store, namely the Salon Science Hydrasorb Intensive Masque AquaCacteen 150ml and the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer 116ml

However, I did manage to pick up a whole load of other items.

The Body Shop Sleeping Bouncy Mask

After trialing this for a long while on Caroline Hirons' recommendation, I can now tell you what I think, bearing in mind that I have normal-combination skin.

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturising Lip Colour Balm
These are actually the first two of the Clinique Chubby Sticks that I bought.
I think I might have done a bit of a Clinique overkill, but this is the last post on it for a while, promise!

Here we go.

A very special brew

They call it the everyday brew, I call it the very special brew.

Today's post is slightly different. I have just finished an exam (at time of post going up) and I am making myself a nice cup of tea and it is exactly that which I am proposing to talk to you about!

Cult Beauty Haul

I always get sucked in by Gifts with Purchase, more than discounts (I think this is a lie) but I really cannot resist a good bag.

However, let's see what I have bought first!

I picked up 2 Jouer Cream Eyeshadow Sticks, a DJV mascara and a Daniel Sandler blusher.
The Omorovicza thermal cleansing balm and the Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip cleanser are both samples which I chose at checkout.

Here's a disclaimer/warning, I had a very bad reaction to something (no idea what) and I am including pictures of my inflamed, sore and red face and to tell you about a product which worked for me!

Read on for more information.

Benefit Primping with the Stars

If there's one thing Benefit does really well, it is packaging and the advertising leading up to any product launch! (okay, so that's more than one thing.... amongst the others!)

I personally love Benefit's packaging and love following their instagram account so much that I follow both the UK and USA accounts.

Before I start, let me explain things a little.

A few weeks ago, I made an order with FeelUnique, where I was sent a sachet of the everyday brew from teapigs.

Fav Five - Blushes

I was not too sure what Favourite Five to feature on my blog as some are really difficult to come decide whereas some I really have less than 5 favourites..... and then I thought, hang on there, I have LOADS of blushes and it is an easy one for me to pick my favourites!

In no real particular favourite order,

NARS Matte Multiple in Laos
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light
Clinique Cheek Pop Peach Pop
Benefit Benetint
Benefit Dandelion Box of Powder

Smelling good

I recently picked up some Rituals goodies because I had a £5 voucher from House of Fraser which was expiring.

When I had a look on the website, Rituals was on 3 for 2 (SCORE) and my favourite body butter was down from £17 to just £8.50
So really, I paid £17 for 2 body butters and a shower foam!

Here is the Rituals Happy Buddha (Organic Mandarin & Yuzu) Foaming Shower Gel Sensation
I have not tried this so will have to report back on it but many people like the foaming shower gel offered.

Here is the Rituals Honey Touch (Indian Rose & Himalaya Honey) Rich & Nourishing Body Cream
I love this and have decided it is my favourite from the Rituals range. It smells divine and a little goes a long way (Clinique is thicker and you need less) but this feels softer and has an almost softer feel to the actual product.

I also popped into L'occitane to pick up a free present (Thank you Grace) that was offered because I did a short survey.

Basically two mini hand creams were offered.

L'occitane Delightful Rose & Vanilla Bouquet Hand Cream
These are so adorable I may gift them rather than using them. I do love the mini hand creams because they are so small and dainty and you don't need much with L'occitane hand creams.
I also have about 4 other hand creams from L'occitane which need using and I am unafraid to gift these as I know they are good quality.

Salon Science

Having an irritable scalp, the clear choice of the Salon Science for me to try was the Scalp Relief range featuring Aquacacteen.

First of all, I must say I have put off posting about this because I wanted to do a proper trial with it. I have now been using this range for just under 3 months and here are my thoughts.
