I have neutral skin tone leaning more towards yellow/warm.

I like light coverage foundations, because I find it easier to work with in general.
I am crazy about blushers and own at least 6 at any one time,
love a good cat eye and have tested so many eyeliners it feels a bit excessive.

I have normal-combination skin and no real issues with my skin. However, when I am off the pill, I do get hormonal breakouts on the jawline.



I try to eat healthy, try to exercise 4 days a week and I  dance ballet at least once a week.

This blog was started because I was going through a difficult time and needed something to focus my energy on, when a friend suggested I write about my love of make up and skincare. I initially was not for the idea, but once I started, the rest just fell into place.




Why the name CherriesSballet? In all honesty, it started out as cherriesstrawberriesballet but it's SO long and even I get the spelling wrong sometimes. All because I wanted to start and I had no idea for the blog name so I took inspiration from my favourite dance and what I was having as a snack..... You've guessed it - Cherries and Strawberries! I then shortened the name and so far I'm sticking with it.



This blog was born in London as a hobby and so a lot of what I post are actually UK/European skincare and beauty items, but I've just moved back to Malaysia, so you can expect to see more Asian skincare and there's a Sephora near my house! Eeeeks.
