Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in Linen (top swatch)
I love this so much. Sometimes I wear it on its own, without any moisturiser underneath, and sometimes I wear it as a primer for another foundation. Sometimes I mix with with another foundation. It is buildable even by itself but I like to wear a light layer of it most days.
Bottom line, I am wearing this pretty much everyday!
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 20 (bottom swatch)
I rediscovered this and have been using it for my under eyes a lot. It is more fluid but patting it in definitely helps it set and I have been enjoying this as a concealer in general.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
I have not been using this for a while because I have not been using eyeshadow, or even when I am I forget until one day I had an extra long day and saw how creased my eye make up was at the end of the day. I have since reintroduced this into my routine and I am loving this as I once did!
Nudestix Magnetic Eye Colour in Gilt (top swatch)
This has to be my favourite all over the eyelid colour and the gold is just subtle enough to wear everyday! The colour blends nicely and once it sets it stays put the whole day. Did I mention I love this colour?
Jouer Creme Eyeshadow Crayon in Renaissance (bottom swatch)
A colour I gravitate towards to bring some definition to my eyes is this eyeshadow! It is not true purple as it has a brown undertone which just makes it sort of multi-dimensional and it just is BEAUTIFUL. I would wear this all over my eyes everyday but it is not suitable for that sort of usage but look at that colour!
Daniel Sandler Watercolour Fluid Blush in Flush (right swatch)
When I first got this I was slightly alarmed at how much pigmentation each drop gives! However when blended into the cheeks (fingers or blush) it looks super natural and I do not set with powder as it has really excellent staying power (I've tested it up to 13 hours) and because it is a fluid blush, it looks slightly dewy and just very beautiful. This colour suits me as it brightens up my face but there is a whole range available!
Jouer tint in Petal (left swatch)
Another blush I have been gravitating towards and really I have only been wearing these two, is the Jouer tint in Petal. I had just bought this with a whole bunch of Jouer products but I really like this tint. I use it as a cream blusher and it is more peachy than the Daniel Sandler but I also really like the dewy flush it gives.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist
I like to use this after powder to make sure everything has set nicely and I was trying this out alongside the Mac Cosmetics Fix + and I prefer The Body Shop offering, from the scent to the spritz nozzle, to everything really.
Melvita Orange Blossom Extraodinary Water
This may seem an unnecessary step to some but I really enjoy using this. It feels almost gel-like and I massage it onto my face with my fingers and then fan it dry slightly before spritzing some water (yes I know.. I just dried my face just to wet it again) and then I go in with whatever serum I want to use and just feel that my skin really appreciates the pre-serum priming!
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum
This is really lovely as a serum. It is very fluid and one pump is more than enough for the whole face, making it go a long long way. I am not as big a fan of the scent, as I prefer my skincare to have subtle scent or no scent, rather than a real added scent! However the actual product is really lovely on the skin and the glass bottle shows you how much product is left, which I like and appreciate! It also feels quite luxe and I feel that my skin is less oily with this added moisture, helping my makeup to stay longer!
The Body Shop Shea Butter Shower Cream
I did not think I would like this but I really enjoy how moisturising it feels and that I do not have to moisturise after (whoops!) It also smells quite clean and not overly strongly scented, which can be my issue with some of The Body Shop body products.
Rituals Shower Gel
I love this and how it foams up incredibly! The scent is also just... again, incredible! Rituals is a really good brand which does not get enough love online. The prices are a bit higher but if you wait for some discounts and whatnot, it really is worth the money!
D&G 3 L'impératrice
I love how this smells and it really is very sweet and even the perfume is a beautiful pink. I, however, have decided to no longer support D&G (although this possibly is the only thing I own from D&G anyway) because of their various comments. While I believe in free speech to a certain extent, I do think it's a fine line and I really am not an advocate of what they say and stand behind.
Those are my favourites this month, I have so many as I might have gone a bit mad with the shopping (again) and discovered so many goodies. Are any of this on your to-try list?
Love the rituals foam too! (as a matter of fact, I got huuuge full size gift box with the mist, body scrub, body butter, foam, shower oil and a candle).
ReplyDeleteWas very tempted to get the Vichy serum, but still have some of my clarins, but would you recommend it then?
Hello Anna! Which scent did you get for your gift box? My favourite is the Honey Touch, simply divine! The Foam is just.. you need the tiniest bit and it is ridiculously fun to have so much foam.
DeleteThe Vichy serum is almost a budget version, (almost because it is still not the cheapest serum) but compared to Clarins it is quite cheap. It also depends which Clarins serum you're specifically referring to, this is probably akin to the one in the blue bottle (which I have never tried).
I found that even on my normal-combination skin, putting on something which helped with dehydration, really helped with the oiliness of my skin! I was initially using it only at night, but now I use it twice a day and am planning to repurchase (only when it is 1/3 off at Escentual or FeelUnique though). This is one product that I highly recommend to all skin types (most of us are dehydrated) but if you have the budget for Clarins.. That's dreamy =)
