Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Shine in 230 Pretty Perfect
I picked this up because I had some vouchers and I knew I wanted to try an Estee Lauder lipstick. Why I hear you ask? First off, because I want to try everything. Secondly, a family friend swears by Estee Lauder lipsticks and says that they do the best lipsticks compared to all the high end brands.
Of course I have to try this!

All About Lips #109
The By Terry Aqua Tint Lip & Cheek Colour Touch Duo was also on sale (following from last week's By Terry Terrbly lipstick post) and these two in one box was actually cheaper than the lipstick.

All About Lips #108
This By Terry Rouge Terrybly 404 Carnal Attraction is luxury in a lipstick. I think the whole brand is just very luxurious.

I don't even know what brought it on but I came out of Sephora with 4 items and it felt like a real splurge.

All About Lips #105
This is actually a Tony Moly lipstick which Bob received due to her various purchases and she passed it on to me because of the colour.
Before we go into that, can we just look at how cute the packaging is on this!

Beautiful & a little purchase
Now recently I have moved from Waterloo to Holloway Road and I am very caught up with my education (SO DIFFICULT OMG HELP ME) and I barely have time to blog hence why the daily posts have become so impossible.
The other day I suddenly remembered that I needed to go for a Hollywood wax, which is an all all wax.
I hope I do not need to go into more description than that.
I had a snoop around the internet for beauty salons near Holloway Road and Covent Garden and ended up picking Beautiful Beauty Salon
This little gem along Holloway Road (nearer to Archway than Holloway Road tube station) is right next to the Sainsbury's and is clean, presented well and I had a lovely experience (hence the review now)
I have already mentioned it to friends to try it out because the prices are really decent. These are all available on the website and are separated out to hair removal, skin, body and so on.
There is also an offer of 4 for the price of 3 for facials (under skin) and body treatments!
The prices are cheaper than those of Zone 1 (I had a cheeky peek) and there is a £5 off for first timers if you are referred.
So if you need a referral, do drop me a comment, but it is still a cheaper and really nice place.
I was in and out of the treatment room in less than 10 minutes. AMAZING.
I also bought myself a TendSkin rollerball for £15 at the salon.
Now I know that this may not be the nicest topic to talk about, but ingrown hairs really are not pleasant.
I have used a few scrubs and what not and will do a comparison post once I have tried it enough.
Have any of you lovely readers tried TendSkin in its liquid or rollerball form?

Orange you happy, Bob?
Orange was so last season, Bob.
I know. Tell me about it. But I can't get enough of it!
The moment I saw orange being the 'IT' colour on the Spring '14, my eyes would not stray. You could ask Christabel all about my orange obsession. Every shop, every orange, every swatch. And she could vouch for me that I've got a building collection of orange based lipsticks in my drawer. For the love of makeup, I don't know why I'm obsessed with it. I feel like in this post, I'd have to share with you every Orange journey I've taken in the year itself and I think I am very content with my purchases. I'm done looking for Orange.
In started with:
- MAC Neon Orange, 2012, Amplified, £15.50.
- Topshop Rio Rio, 2012, Satin Matte, £8.00.
- Nars Cinematic Short Circuit, Nov 2013, Luminous finish, Limited, £19.50
- Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstacy CC Tangerine, January 2014, Moisturising, £26.50.
- Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Flesh, February 2014, Matte Lacquer, £26.50.
- Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Gloss Electric Orange, March 2014, Glossy, £6.12.
- Nars Satin Lip Pencil Timanfaya, May 2014, Satin, Limited, £18.00.
- MAC Pro Longwear Pencil What a Blast!, July 2014, Matte, £15.00
- OCC Lip Tar Beta, July 2014, Matte, £11.95.
- Givenchy Le Rouges Fruit Défendu, July 2014, Amplified, Limited, £25.00.
- Bobbi Brown Lip Rich Color Blazing Red, July 2014, Matte Moisturising, £19.50.
- Nars Lipgloss Wonder, July 2014, Gloss, £18.50.
If I had to pick a favourite and to wear one anytime, anyday. I think I would pick OCC Lip Tar Beta. It's such a bright yellow tone orange that lasts so long and has a very comfortable finish to wear (4th one down in swatches)

And to finish the orange post, I decided to make one final orange purchase to tie the whole look together when I wear my orange lip and that is an all rounder blush that compliments these lipstick:

My Skin, but better!
Oh hai, I'm Bob.
If you're a daily reader of Christabel's blog, you've probably seen/read of me in her most recent posts here and there. She's been trying to get me to start my own beauty blog but I have terrible commitment issues and am very shy to do so.
However, spur of the moment kind of thing, Christabel has kindly invited me to guest blog here to test the water and hopefully to give her readers a diversity of products as I have the complete opposite skin type to Christabel. Thus, bringing me into my introduction and first beauty post.
My skin type:
- Autumn/Winter - Dry & Dehydrated
- Spring/Summer - Normal & Dehydrated
As my skin is dehydrated all year round, one of my main concerns is that my face can look quite dull. My go to product to brighten and even out my skin is the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. I also have a thing for tinted moisturisers - especially ones you can build up the coverage.

| A little goes a long way |
A pea size amount of product is enough for a sheer coverage all over the face and it will even out my skin tone and make it look radiant, even and perfect - like I've just stepped out of the shower. It does not clog up the skin at all and feels super comfortable when you layer the product for more coverage. It still feels like you are wearing nothing on your face!
When I don't have a tan (winter skin tone), I am St Moritz (Medium 1), as shown below:

| Paris, France | February 2014 FOTD: Nars St. Moritz, one layer blended with fingers |
At the moment, I use an even amount of St Moritz and Cuba mixed together to achieve my ideal shade. And when I progress into my tanned skin, I can blend Cuba (Medium 3) all over my skin quite comfortably. I don't normally powder my skin when I use this product as I like the dewy finish and powder tends to dry my skin out.
The product is oil-free & non-comedogenic yet enough hydration making it ideal for any skin-type through out the year. It is a tinted moisturiser that delivers moisture unlike other tinted moisturiser, in my opinion. It does not leave a tacky feeling after application like Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturiser.
Packaging is sleek, lightweight and very travel friendly.
SPF 30 PA+++
Might look very pigmented but blends out like a dream! - Don't be intimidated.
If you are prone to shininess, I would definitely powder the skin as the optical brighteners in the product may accentuate that.
Overall, a great product to invest if you're looking for a flexible tinted moisturiser!
