I remember being at Boots just trying out the new Elizabeth Arden Great 8 Moisturiser when it had newly launched and being talked into buying several different bits and here we are with a long overdue review.
As Boots was running a 3 for 2 offer, I picked up 2 tubes of the Elizabeth Arden Great 8 Moisturiser and at the time of writing this blogpost, I can confirm that I am onto my second tube and I really enjoy the product.
The Elizabeth Arden Retinol Capsules I thought I would try and I admit really enjoying the texture of them and I did see a slight even-ing of my skin.
It is very interesting to me that I love these retinol capsules and I thoroughly enjoy their ceramide capsules but I think the new Vitamin C capsules (not pictured) are too oily. On the other hand, I love the Beauty Pie Vitamin C capsules but don't particularly enjoy the ceramide capsules (many others rave and really rate it).
Back to the star of the show (in my opinion), the Elizabeth Great 8 Moisturiser is a sunscreen with many added benefits. The beauty of this is that it is so lightweight and sinks in quickly onto the skin.
I use about 4 pumps on my face so this is 1 pump immediately after smoothing it on. It does not leave the skin greasy and make up takes on top really nicely.
I was also given a goodie bag and I picked this one which was in collaboration with Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends.
I will however, admit that I have been saving these products for travel and have to tried them out yet.
I would definitely consider repurchasing the Elizabeth Arden Great 8 Moisturiser, especially as the weather warms up, although I am tempted to try the new Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro Multi-Defense Aqua UV Gel SPF 50 with 8 Anti-Oxidants but that one is £36 for 30ml and this Elizabeth Arden is £36 for 45ml so perhaps I should stick with this tried and tested one!
