Empties #64

These were actually my empties when I was in the states as I am really struggling to finish up my empties post.

Starting off with the body items, we have 4 items here.

The Curel Ultra Healing Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion was perfect in the Texas dry winter. It needed to be applied and massaged into the skin and left the skin feeling supple and hydrated. I wanted to try the Cetaphil Moisturisering Lotion but found it thin and watery in comparison. If you prefer lotions that are not thick, you may enjoy the Cetaphil.

Bionsen has been my go-to deodorant for years and years and I am still working through a backlog of hoarding when I left the UK and thought it would be impossible to get any. I have now moved back and I am still working through my pile!

The Dr Teal's Foaming Bath smelled delicious and certainly helped to put me to bed. I am curious about the bath salts as it is similar and would perhaps be easier to transport. I enjoyed this.

For hair, I tried out these travel size Kristin Ess The One Signature Shampoo and Conditioner. While the product was lovely, the shampoo did not stop my itchy scalp, which resurfaced after a few washes. I did enjoy this and it was a bit of a musky scent which is a nice change from all the sweet shampoo scents. I believe many people will enjoy these.

Due to the insanely dry weather, I actually used a few sheet masks to try and counter any dryness and drhydration. The Dr Jart + Vital Hydra Solution was very lovely to use. The Garnier Serum Mask Hydra Bomb was quite perfumed and the mask was quite fiddly but it did leave my skin very happy.

The Raio Make Up Remover was just an oily sheet which helped remove makeup but I really would not use that again. The OSkia Renaissance Cleanser was super lovely, much lovelier than I remember it to be and I can see why people would rave about this.

The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Cleanser Scrub Mask smelled very strongly of Tea Tree. I tried to use it as a cleanser and scrub and then leave it for a bit for mask action. I found it drying when used days in a row but left the skin feeling very refreshed and clean.

The Laneige Firming Sleeping Mask is a super easy way to just cleanse and slap on for bouncy happy skin the next day.

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is a lovely product. It contains essential oils so may not be suitable for all. I have purchased a full size as I truly enjoyed it.

The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair is a lovely product which hydrates and soothes and acts as a multi step serum. I enjoy it but it really is too expensive.

The Sunday Riley Good Genes (Lactic Acid- USA version) is a lovely product. It smells but I love using it and seeing smoother skin the next day. I would purchase this.

Nivea Hydro Care lip balm is a boy standard lip balm which works. I have many others I prefer which have more hydrating properties, but for the price point, you really cannot complain about this.

We have some makeup product this time round as well.

It is time to bid goodbye to my Jouer bronzer. It was a super lovely product and I was shade-matched to this. Sadly there is a film forming and it is quite old even for a powder (I have had it for at least 4 years) so I thought it was time to say goodbye.

The Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter is so beautiful but is messy and I have a new one so I thought that it was time to retire this well used one and frankly it is pretty old for a cream product.

That is everything this time!
