Pixi x Chloe Morello - Chloette Palette

A while ago, I posted about hauling this Pixi x Chloe Morello - Chloette Palette from Cult Beauty (you can read it HERE).

First up, the packaging is clear so you are able to see exactly the products in the palette.

You do get a little silver of mirror to use. I personally find this mirror too small to use properly so I prefer to bring something with a bigger mirror.

The shades you get in here are good for highlight, blush, slight contouring and eyeshadow, eyebrow and eyeliner.

Here is a swatch of the 3 blush shades, which is really pretty and subtle. You can definitely build this up to more of a flush if you prefer that, or wear it as a soft wash of colour.

The shimmery eyeshadows swatch beautifully but I would only use the top right (second swatch) or the left shade of the second row (third swatch) as my highlighter. All the other shades would show up too obviously on my cheek. The matte eyeshadows at the bottom need a lot of help if you are using them as eyeshadows but would work as eyebrow colour. The black in particular, would need a wet brush to use as a strong eyeliner, or else it gives beginners a really easy way to intensify without overwhelming.

Here I have foundation on but not put any colour back onto my cheeks yet.

Using a fluffy brush to ensure that colour is not too concentrated, and more of a wash of colour, I apply the first shade of blush.

This first shade of blush is arguably the pretties n my cheeks because it really is the more subtle flush. There is barely a hint of colour, which can be a very pretty way of wearing blush.

I then went in with the third shade of blush for the other cheek, and it is quite the colour. This could be quite pretty with heavier eye makeup. I also think it is a really lovely shade in colder months when your skin naturally has a flush from the cold. It also has a more shimmery finish so you can skip highlighter if you choose to.

There were 3 blush shades and only 2 cheeks on me, so I decided to just layer the second blush onto the first blush. The pink tinge is quite pretty and matte.

Here is a final look on the blushes. I really enjoy this palette as it is very versatile and easy to use. Have you tried out the Pixi x Chloe Morello - Chloette Palette ?
