When Glossier first announced the launch of these two products, I was beyond excited. Shower oils are simply the best for lazy people. They feel good on the skin and you can skip moisturising afterwards! That's a win-win situation
Like most of Glossier's products, the aesthetics is spot on. The hard plastic actually looks chic in the bathroom. As mentioned in my Glossier Haul Post (you can read it HERE), I had high expectations for the Glossier Body Hero Body Wash and thought it would replace my L'occitane Almond Shower Oil, hwoever this floral scent is not as luxurious as the L'occitane offering and I simply prefer that!
The Glossier Body Hero Body Butter fares much better. Not only do I love the presentation and packaging, I enjoy the product as well. The floral scent is similar but not as overpowering in the body butter, and the body butter sinks into the skin quickly, making the skin feel very soft and pampered. I do enjoy using this a lot.
I generally prefer using matching scents for my body products, so it is unlikely that I will repurchase the Glossier Body Hero Body Butter when I will not repurchase the Body Wash. So it's a no from me this time Glossier. Sorry.
