This comes with a doe foot applicator, which is slightly angled, and I have tried to capture this in the photos

 As usual, here's a picture of me without any lip products for reference

Here, the product is just on the lower lip

 And then I tried to build up intensity by adding an extra layer

This glossy stain has the classic smell that all the other YSL glossy stains have, which I am unable to describe (sorry) but please go sniff it at a YSL counter before you purchase as these do not come cheap!

I personally do not mind it and in fact, I find the YSL glossy stains to be one of my favourite lip products to use.

It also is more see-through/translucent than the traditional offerings of YSL glossy stains, but I find that this offers a more juicy finish and more natural yet buildable for colour intensity.

Although this is coral, I find it quite pink (but I have been told pointedly that it looks coral on me) and I like that it does not make my teeth look yellow.
