Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose

Yesterday I featured the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso and talked about how nice it is not to use a matte blush but today, we talk about a matte blush from Milani - Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose.

Frankly, I picked up the Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose because I saw the rose design and could not tear my eyes away! This blush is much bigger than the Milani Baked Blushes. The compact is also completely flat compared to the dome shaped ones of the Baked Blushes!

This Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose feels powdery compared to the Milani Baked Blushes but the colour is such a comfort colour for me and it is stunning. I love the baby pink but I was really wary of how powdery it felt!

The swatches were not very impressive as well. The pigmentation did not really show up and it swatched somewhat chalky on the back of my hand. At this point, I am already thinking this could be a blog photo backdrop rather than a blush?

Surprisingly, this applied quite smooth with a brush. It goes on better on a brush than using fingers to swatch. It is a matte blush and you can build it up. I tried not to go crazy applying too much to just show you how I would wear it on a day to day basis.

The Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose is nice on the skin but it is nothing revolutionary. I prefer the Neutrogena blushes and the Milani Baked Blushes compared to this but neither of those are as pretty as this Rose Patterned Blush. I will say that the pattern and embossing looks like after much usage it will wear down but for now I am still left with a very beautiful Rose Blush.
