First Aid Beauty

The FAB Holiday Trio includes First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy, First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser and First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads.

So here are the three products and apart from the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads which is a repurchase and something I really enjoy, I have never tried the other two products. The radiance range has a more sky blue packaging and the gentler items have the baby blue packaging.

The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy does not look very exciting. Somehow the packaging just does not inspire any excitement and I don't think it's very pretty but this is the First Aid Beauty logo and colours. So I was not expecting very much (shallow, I know) but this lip balm is actually really lovely! There is a slanted tip to dispense the product and it is very moisurising on the lips! It also smells gently fruity. It's actually an addictive scent that has me reaching for the lip balm repeatedly! This is a surprise win!

I've repurchased this and just recently (when doing this purchase) I bought an additional because I know that I like the First Air Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. These are not really abrasive and I like to use them when I feel a little congested or that my skin is looking a little dull.

Now for the only thing that didn't wow me. The First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser comes in an interesting packaging. It it very travel friendly but some of you may get annoyed that it is unable to stand on its own! The actual product is pearlescent in colour but it smells pretty rank. I initially was not too bothered by it but the more I use it, the more I am put off. One of the redeeming features is that it is quite easy to rinse off. It does not really lather and I do not find it drying but I can't say I will purchase this because the smell is just too nasty. I would point you towards the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser for a similar cleanser instead!

So 2 out of 3 products is not bad at all. I am pretty pleased with this purchase and I think that First Aid Beauty is a reliable and solid brand. They have recently released some makeup and primer. I swatched the coconut primer on the back of my hand and it was really shimmery and pretty! Let me know if you are curious about those or if you are a fan of First Aid Beauty or just anything really!
