I was not going to buy this even though I wanted it because it is cheaper in the States and in UK but Sephora had 20% sale and I did not plan a trip to US or UK any time soon. *whoops* bought the palette?

First of all, I have to say I really struggled to swatch the 15 shades on my arm. I really struggled to fit them all in and the last shade, the black ended up on the creasey bit and looks a little odd.

Here is another picture to show you the finger swatches and I really am quite impressed by all the pigmentation of the shadows. Even the light shades show up and are really soft and buttery.

We are going to go through row by row and as I am unable to show you the full 5 shades, we will do 4. These are the lightest shades and there are no proper names but just shade numbers.

Here are the next four and the shimmer shades are so beautiful but the matte shadows are really good for blending harsh edges.

These are the next four shades and there are quite a few shimmery shades which I typically don't use but actually love so much. I ended up wearing shimmery shades as accent shades on my eyelids and I am really glad this Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette has me out of my comfort zone.

Finally we have the last column that I could not swatch. The black is a much needed shade in my opinion and helps with eyelining with a black shadow for a softer smokey look.



Overall, I am really enjoying this eyeshadow palette. I never use more than 5 shades at one go. To me, that is already plenty. However, more is more, right? I love that I have a lot of choices with this palette.

A few things I wish this palette have?
Names for the actual shades than just numbers.
A mirror (not a deal breaker but would have been nice)


Apart from those two things, I love the palette. Yes, I would recommend purchasing this palette.
