Now I know that it really is a small detail, but I like how the candles are wrapped in patterned paper, keeping the candles from breaking each other and keeping them pretty. Also, the unwrapping is almost like unwrapping a present. Is it just me? I take joy in the little things.

I actually picked up 2 candles, and both of these are considered as medium sized candles. The large candles work out better for value, and have 3 wicks and look stunning, but my bedroom is way too small for a large candle so I picked these up instead.

Bath & Body Works : Sea Island Cotton & Mahogany Teakwood |
This Sea Island Cotton candle comes with a lid and has a 20-30 hour burn time while the Mahogany Teakwood has a 30-40 hour burn time, and does not come with any cover or lid. This Sea Island Cotton candle smells very fresh and is a rather typical scent for me to gravitate towards. Similar scents in my head would be the Yankee candle fresh laundry candles.

This gorgeous Mahogany Teakwood candle is not actually something I expected to like but upon first sniff, I wanted it so badly. It smells exactly how I imagine a sexy, masculine man to, just musky and manly. I've put this in my cupboard to scent it up so if you walk past me and I smell like a man, it's probably the candle!

I already have ideas and plans on how to use the glass jar and container when the candle is burnt out but for now I have other candles that I am playing with so I am keeping these but you'll see them in an empties when I finish them up.

This was actually a purchase by my sister because she wanted a hand sanitiser that she could hang and Bath & Body Works is pretty much the only brand that does this hanging concept.

Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitiser |
The halloween range includes this pumpkin, a ghost and a bat. All of which light up when you press the button in the middle. I personally love the bat, but it is pretty glittery and there is the danger of losing a bat wing.

I think Bath & Body Works are well known for their hand sanitisers for good reasons, they are fun, colourful, smell really nice. This is just so adorable and I have half a mind to go back to pick up the little bat!

Now I did mention that I bought a few bits from Sephora...
First up is this NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in 08 San Paulo. I had swatched several of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams and picked out 3 that I wanted but they were out of stock. So being me, I took a picture of the names and numbers and so when I saw that this one was in stock, I picked it up!

Then I actually spotted a 50% little corner and some of the Sephora Jumbo Liners were in the pile. The ones I was eyeing included a gorgeous olive green and the taupe colour but I ended up picking this purple shade. So I paid RM25 for it and because I had a 10% off voucher I paid RM22.50 which is a really good deal for this eyeliner.

I also spotted this little tarte set and it was pretty hard to detach myself. I chose this over the blusher palette because I prefer the plastic packaging of this mini blush and frankly I was not keen on the sparkly black case of the blush palette. I know I am probably the only person......

Tarte : Maracuja Oil, Amazonian clay 12 hour blush in fanciful, Light, Camera, Lashes mascara |
I love that this actually came wrapped in tissue, a little extra something that ensures the products do not roll around and hit each other.

The actual products are all minis, a good way to try and experiment with the brand. I love the look of the beautiful blusher and have heard many good reviews about both the Tarte Maracuja Oil and the Tarte Light, Camera, Lashes Mascara!

I'm really happy with this tarte set and it's not expensive. I find myself more attracted to deluxe sized samples because it is easier to text out items, and I almost never finish make up items so it's a good way to get to know a product! I don't mind that it's less value for money because it works out worse if you buy a full sized item and hate it!

The Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Fanciful is almost just half the size of the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed. I still think it will last anyone using it daily a long time but I have a few blushes on rotation so effectively I am unlikely to hit pan on this!

Another item I oooh-ed and aaaah-ed over was this Nudestix TooCute Tin and when I swatched the colours I decided that I wanted it. Obviously.

Nudestix TooCute Tin |
First of all, the tin is so adorable and I can already see myself putting in the eyeshadow stick or even the highlight and concealer pen when I've used more of it and it's small enough to fit in it.

Nudestix TooCute Tin : Mystic, Sin, Satan |
The tin not only hosts three mini lip and cheek pencils in beautiful wearable colours, it also comes with a little sharpener, very handy! The only thing I will say is that as much as I love the tin, the mini sizes and the colours, I am a little disappointed with the name of that Red colour. Satan just seems a little unnecessary but it might just be me sitting on my high horse getting all fussy about the little things.

There are so many adorable and beautiful gifts out in Sephora at the moment. What have you been picking up?
