Empties

If you think these are the empties for the month......
They are, but I have about 20 other products!
I counted and there are 38 products in this post. ARE YOU READY?

Starting off with MAKEUP
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Plushest Punch - I really like this colour but it has started to go a little dry and slightly cracked at the base, so I think it is time to say goodbye.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation - I have this in the shade Beige, which no longer matches me, and I have had this for a while so thought it was time to say goodbye. It is a good medium-full coverage foundation but I prefer liquid foundations and lighter formulations. I was also advised that this is good for oily skin but cannot say that I find it so. I will not repurchase this.

Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner - I received this as part of a Debenhams giveaway thing and was insanely grateful/happy/excited as I really wanted to try this. Benefit always sucks me in with their promotions and advertisements! While it sometimes worked and sometimes would give a perfect flick, often times I found it really hard and it would ball up and flake off my eyes. I recently tried it again but while it swatched beautifully on the back of my hand, it flaked off my eyes so I thought it is time to bin it.

Maxfactor Masterpiece Transform Mascara- This has an odd wand but I like it and it works. I have not repurchased because it is a bit pricey for a drugstore mascara but it really is a good one.

Seventeen Super Lash! Mascara - This is meant to be really lengthening but I really did not like the brush because it would load up with too much product. Even after I wiped off, as soon as I popped the wand into the tube there would be so much product that it would look clumpy on my dinky lashes immediately. NO.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil - I have written a review of this (read it HERE) but I am saying goodbye to it now even though there is a little product left because it has started going a little manky in the tube. I do love the oversized soft spongey doe foot applicator and would actually love to buy the pink version which I think was limited edition so I have pretty much missed out now. CRY.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector - This was so lovely to use but the problem was there is not much product in here at all. The balm also tended to move a little in the bullet, which annoyed me. I did enjoy using this but am looking for other products. I also prefer the Lip Gloss because I feel like it lasts longer. Read about the lip balm review HERE and the lip gloss review HERE.

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Curviest Caramel - This actually made it into the empties in the last minute when I was typing up on the other Clinique Chubby Stick and I thought I ought to check on this.. There is only a tiny bit of product left but the bottom has cracked just like the other and I think that it has dried out as well.

Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector - The first ingredient in this is Dimethicone, which means this is REALLY silicone-y. It claims to improve skin's quality over time as well, which I was not able to test as I had 2 sachets (this being the second) but it is nice as a base and I got 2 uses out of it and no balling happened with my foundation.

Next up is a few HAIRCARE items
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Primer - My favourite out of the trio trial pack I picked up, I have finished this up. I will not repurchase as I am hoping to find something similar for my hair at a cheaper price or even with a scent I prefer but I do recommend this.

John Frieda Kelp Help Deep Conditioning Masque - My rational behind buying a mask made for blonde hair is that if you hair is bleached blonde, it must need more moisture and care, just like my hair. This smells really minty and quite refreshing, something that departs from more traditional sweet smelling hair products. However, I don't think it was that great at moisturising my hair so I will not repurchase.

L'oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Shampoo - Okay this is not actually mine... My boyfriend uses this and he has repurchased both the shampoo and conditioner (that one is running out too) so I think that it must be good/he likes it enough to buy it again.

Salon Science Hydrasorb Intensive Masque - I love this stuff, I rave about it and I have had so many empties. Read about my review HERE.

MooGoo Milk Shampoo - This is labelled as a scalp friendly shampoo and I actually got along really well the two times I used it (the sample housed enough for 2 uses) and I would look it up to purchase again.

I don't know how but I have A TON of SKINCARE items which have all gone at the same time
This travel size Caudalie Organic Grape Water has lasted a long time as I save it for travel only and it is now all gone. Still remains as the HG spritz.

Caudalie Polyphenol SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid - lovely product, I am not repurchasing at the moment because I am trying to finish up some items but this is really nice and this particular one was a repurchase.

Eve Lom Cleanser - This smells really herbally and while it actually left my skin really soft, I prefer the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm and Ole Henriksen Pure Melting Cleanser so I will not repurchase. Not a bad product, but contains mineral oil so it won't be for everyone.

Origins A Perfect World For Eyes - This feels like a balm and I initially loved it, then went off it and then came back and really enjoyed using it. I am currently using other eye gels but I am pretty tempted to repurchase this. Good as an all-rounder and if you are not looking for anything specific.

Dr Brandt Do Not Age Serum -  This is alright, the sample sachet is so small that I have no opinion of it really.

Benefit They're Real Remover - This is the only item from the BBB Dream Box that I really was not impressed with. I felt like I had to tug to remove eye make up and yes it does remove waterproof make up (PLENTY of tugging) and I just do not like cream removers on my eyelids, I prefer micellar solutions or oil-based removers.

Melvita Orange Blossom Extraordinary Water - I really enjoyed using it and while I am not sure I can see a major difference in my skin but it only claims to soften and soothe. I do use this as a toner after I use any exfoliating acids, or by itself if I am skipping exfoliating acids. I would repurchase but not at the moment.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil - I think that this is a good product, especially as it is a 2 in 1, but I prefer the Clarins Lotus Oil, which is a high end item, especially comparing it to this one. I will not be repurchasing this as I have a new Clarins one, but I recommend it, especially if you are on a budget, it is really good value.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream - This was a gift in purchase and while I initially did not like it, I actually like it when the weather is warmer as it is quite lightweight on the skin. I don't think I will repurchase as I prefer a day cream to have SPF but this was nice enough.

Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream - As soon as I opened it, I knew I would not like it. As nice as it was in sinking into my skin and I actually wake up with quite smooth skin, this smells of Almonds which is something I like to eat but hate the smell of..... SO MUCH. I will never be able to convince myself to pay so much (it is Omorovicza after all) for an item when I do not like the scent.

Benefit Instant Comeback Facial Serum - I was lucky to receive 2 samples of this to try it out properly. This smells quite fresh so it is a nice serum to use in the day time. I did not see any major change in my skin but I tend not to.... However, I will not repurchase because I tend to stick to French Pharmacy brands or even just brands that focus on skincare as opposed to one that is more famous for its makeup!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Serum - I did not like the scent of the cream and this serum has the scent faintly. I like that even the sample came in a pump bottle but I will not repurchase as I do not like the scent. The product itself is quite lovely otherwise.

Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum - This is a shaker dropper bottle which makes it slightly difficult to use and then it suddenly finished one day (I could not see due to the packaging). I think it is more of an oil than serum, and as I said, I prefer the Clarins Lotus Oil so will not be purchasing this.

Caudalie Premier Cru The Cream - I think I managed to get 2-3 uses out of this teeny tiny tube but it was just SO LOVELY. I have never really been able to tell that I like a product from such a small sample but this smelt lovely, a bit like raisins.. and it just felt really nourishing but sank into the skinq quickly without feeling greasy or leaving a film.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm - I love this but because of the price I felt so guilty getting it again. The 200ml does work out better in price but this is SO luxurious. Everything, from the texture to the smell is just luxury in a pot. It works even on my slightly oily skin.

Shu Uemura Anti/Oxi Skin Refining Anti-Dullness Cleansing Oil - This is unfortunately my all time favourite make up remover so far. I say unfortunate because of the price of this. I will be trying the Clinique offering next and hopefully prefer that. If not I will repurchase this. It is rather pricey but I have tried a few and while they work, I am not a fan. I have a standalone review HERE.

Boots Botanics Ionic Clay Mask Shine Away  - I have tried this before and like it for a really budget clay mask. I do prefer the Sanctuary Spa one (read it HERE) buy this is good and does what it promises.

Boots Essentials Cleansing Wipes - It cannot be an empties post if I do not include some sort of cleansing wipes, mainly the Boots offering. I still have 3 more to go through - bear with me, they are good at taking make up off the back of my hand.

Scottish Fine Soaps Boheme Bath Foam - I really enjoyed this and while the liquid was a light pink, it is actually quite a clean, unisex smell. It foamed gently and was very pleasant.

Veet Hair Removal Cream Natural Inspirations Sensitive Skin - I mainly used this on my legs but I have been known to use it on my bikini line and underarms as well. Be careful if you are doing that as it is not in the directions for use but it worked out fine for me. I liked using it but will not repurchase soon as I have so many different hair removal things going on at the same time.

Rituals Honey Touch Indian Rose & Himalaya Honey Body Cream - This is a second tub and I have a 3rd one, it really is more of a cold weather scent for me because of the heavier smell and how thick and nourishing it feels on the skin. Thick in the best way possible.

ThisWorks Sleep Balm - This was nice but I don't think I will repurchase as I do not actually like using it before bed time. I once used it as a massage balm and let's just say I slept like a baby. One to look at if you like balms, this smells SO GOOD, I just prefer the pillow spray.

LifeNK Jump Start Sugar Scrub - This was alright, nothing special at all. If you want a scrub, look to Soap&Glory or The Body Shop, they are the best in my opinion!

Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub - I have used at least 2 of this up and I still really like it. This MAY be my favourite Soap & Glory scrub but I cannot commit as I love the Breakfast (Smoothie) one and I also like Scrub of Your Life.... Fickle, I know!

If you made it all the way here, well done! I know I have so many empties but basically I am having to finish up products that I had bought. I was also on a roll because by the time you read this, I would have moved home and so I was trying to finish things up before the move.
