bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream

It took me a really long time to try this out because the reviews have been a bit of a mixed bag. The drier skinned girls love it whereas a lot of people also reported it leaving them looking like an oily mess.

I finally picked it up at the World Duty Free at Gatwick Airport and I picked up a shade darker than my usual shade (03 Buttercream - Light Skin Golden Tone) and instead opted for (05 Natural - Medium Skin Neutral Tone)

Basically when I catch a tan, my skin has more red tones, bringing me from a warm/golden tone to a more neutral tone.

Here I have included pictures of me without any makeup, with swipes of the product and then with half a face done.

Hopefully you are able to see from the picture above, the subtle difference when the product is on my face, it just is a bit more glowy and there's a more even skin tone.

Here's a close up of the side of the face, the skin just looks more even, but there is no major coverage.

I then thought it might be a better idea to show you a before and after picture.

Here it is once again, all over my face.

I tend to powder down the middle of my forehead and just my nose, leaving the rest of the face slightly dewy, slightly glowy and it is fast becoming what I reach for over all the other bases I have.

Moral of the story - sometimes you really just have to try it out!
