Empties #16

Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment
I have tried two samples of this but frankly I do not like it that much.. It is meant to protect hair and help with damage, but this range was not recommended for my hair anyway (it is just dry, not really damaged).

L'occitane Bonne Mere
I actually really like this product. I bought 3 in a pack when I was at Bicester Village and because it is suitable for face and body, it really is a handy dinky thing I pack when I am out and about. The smell is really soothing and gentle, nothing fancy. I would repurchase for my handbag.

Hotel Chocolat Quelesse Conditioning Body Butter
I actually went in store to check out the whole range of Hotel Chocolat products after trying this out and there are essentially 2 ranges, Quilesse for fresh, sunrise sort of scent, and Bois Nef for soothing, sunset sort of scent. I had a good whiff of both and actually cannot choose which I prefer as I really like both!
This particular product is rather difficult to squeeze out but the texture is lovely, very rich but once it's massaged into the skin, it actually sinks in nicely.
Now this is highly highly fragranced, so my pyjamas actually smelled lovely even in the morning, and I could catch a whiff here and there.

Ultrasun Sports Sun Protection Gel SPF20
I got this at TK Maxx and after trying it out twice, I went to Space NK and bought the 200ml bottle (this is 125ml). This is hands down my favourite sunscreen as it is just so easy to use and the gel formula sinks in quickly, is not white, transparent, and dries NOT STICKY. I have repurchased, and I highly recommend this.

If you thought that was all my empties for the month, you would be forgiven, for the picture was deceiving, but behold...... MORE empties and these are just from 1 week on holiday.

So I  thought I would try and help you out by sorting them out....

Aveda Dry Remedy Hair Oil - lovely stuff, would consider purchasing full size
Argan Hair Oil - nice on damp hair
Peter Thomas Roth Shampoo - really like this, smells clean and is not too stripping
Peter Thomas Roth Conditioner - nice, does the job
Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner - is alright, would not purchase full size.
L'occitane Repairing Shampoo - really enjoyed using this, would consider purchase full size
L'occitane Repairing Conditioner - really enjoyed using this, a little goes a long way
R+Co Gemstone Shampoo - nice, but probably will not repurchase
R+Co Gemstone Conditioner - nice, but not sure about it from one use
Sanctuary Spa Hair & Scalp Mud Mask - like this, have repurchased, will repurchase

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker - this was a really nice glossy balm but mine has cracked and gone weird after a perfume split all over it.

Clarins Blue Orchid Oil - really lovely stuff, but I prefer the Lotus oil for my skin type. Have a full size of that one as a back up.

Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Body Cleanser - This did not feel rich and it has a chemically orange scent, NOT NICE.
Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish - not sure I like this, it is very creamy and I felt like it did not scrub well because half would just wash off......
Dolmen Bath & Shower Gel - standard hotel shower gel, quite nice actually, very fresh
Green Park Neroli & Cedar Body Wash - love this so much, the parent brand is Molton Brown and I will definitely check it out.

Burberry Body -  really lovely and quite fresh
Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier - when first spritzed, this is way too heedy but settles into a lovely sweet scent.

Neutrogena Fresh Cooling SPF 45+ - really nice and cooling but problematic when it's windy!
ego Sunsence - traditional sticky, white cream. Need I say more.
Zelens Daily Defence - really nice but has gone off, costs too much to repurchase but if this is within your budget, get it.

Tropic Aloe Vera Aftersun Gel - I prefer the gel versions as they are slightly cooling as well
Nivea Moisturising After sun Lotion - Not a massive fan of this but it did help with burns.

Lastly, most importantly,
Caudalie Organice Grape Water - I LOVE THIS, have about another 3 bottles on rotation.
