Empties #14

I have less empties than I expected this month, but I have been selling and giving products away and I will be trying to finish up products as I prepare to go home by the end of summer this year. Here we go!

Starting with skincare, I have a few items!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream
I use this with the Kiehl's serum and it is a lovely cream which sinks in quickly while feeling nourishing. I don't think I will repurchase only because I don't see hyperpigmentation as a key issue.

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
I got this in the big 50ml (they sell it in 30ml) so it took me a very long time to finish this up. I have a love hate with this, I love that it is a slippy formula but the dropper style means I always use too much and can actually use less. I wish all companies would use the pump style bottle.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc
I caved and bought this and while I prefer it to the usual spring water sprays, I still prefer Caudalie's offering to this so I will not repurchase when I finish the second bottle I own of this. Good, but I didn't think it changed or helped in anyway.

L'occitane Shea Gentle Toner
On days where I would rather not go in with an acid toner, I use this to sweep over just to prep the skin for serum. I sometimes use it after acid toning if my skin feels a little reactive.

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser
I brought this along on holiday and ended up using it all when I came home as I love it. The texture is not so much jelly as it is a little bit more jam (without the stickiness). It melts on contact and feels REALLY luxurious and is a nice alternative to Emma Hardie as the weather warms up. I have already purchased a big bottle of this and you will get to read about the haul in my next post!

The Body Shop Blueberry Lip Butter
This has dried up a little and is becoming a little more difficult to use and bordering on gross as I have to scrape it a little so I have decided to say goodbye to it.

Boots essentials refreshing cleansing wipes
My usual, I love these for when I am doing my makeup. I like all 3 (blue, green, pink).

The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Shower Cream
I love this, the scent is really nice and I feel like I can get away with moisturising. After a while, I put water in to dilute it as the shower cream was almost too thick to squeeze out. The dilution made the product go further and easier to dispense. WIN.

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub
I love this because of the maple syrup scent. It smells so incredible that I cannot help myself. This is a bit more scrubby and almost rough on the skin whereas the other offerings from Soap & Glory are gentler. This is a second tub in recent years, although I have bought this in the last few months and have already finished it all up. I still have a few scrubs so will not repurchase now but I am sure I will be craving the maple syrup soon enough!

Pitrock Crystal Roll-On Deodorant
I did not realise this is fragranced when I bought it on FeelUnique and I really do not like it. The rollerball is quite small and it sometimes need a bit of help before it can roll around freely and I just really do not like it so this is no where near finish and I have decided to say goodbye.

L'occitane Shea Hand Cream
One of my many L'occitane hand creams, this is a great product!

Dior Nudeskin Compact
While the actual product is great, I did not like the packaging it came in (compact with space for sponge on the right) and so I depotted it but that meant that powder went everywhere and I decided to say goodbye to it.

Nuxe Reve de Miel
This is not finished but the lip balm is starting to crystallise and there's almost scrubby bits in it so I think it is time to bin it. I love this so much and is one of my HG lip balm. I am not repurchasing now (shopping ban) but I will when I move home.

Eylure Eyelash Glue
This has gone gunky and I no longer wear falsh lashes lots so the little glue that comes along with any falsh lash should be sufficient.

Nails Inc Latex Effect
I painted my nails with this recently and it seemed quite gloopy so I thought it is time to bin it. I have noticed that the nails inc special effects nail polishes tend to go off quite quickly.

Givenchy Dahlia Divin
This is not finished but I am not a fan of how heedy and strong it is. I tried it twice and it actually makes me feel a little ill at hoe strong it is. I know some people love it but this is not for me.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch
This is near the end but I just really do not like how it looks anymore. I prefer the YSL Touche Eclat which is sheerer and more natural looking. The brightening effect is more evident whereas this is more whitening! I will not repurchase but the colour may be more suitable to someone else.

Salon Science Hydrofoliant Scalp Scrub
Out of all the salonscience products, I will not repurchase this. I need to pre-scrub before shampooing and I am just too lazy.

Concoction Shampyou
I made my boyfriend and any visiting friends finish this up. I do not like it. The conditioner is really lovely but this is just.. It does not work on my sensitive, itchy scalp. My hair will itch on the day after so I have to shampoo daily. NO.

Dove Intense Repair Conditioner
Still going through this, I still have 2 bottles and it is a nice (cheap?) conditioner.

Colgate C200 electric toothbrush head
It was time to change the electric toothbrush head. I bought a box of the sensitive and absolutely love it! I now use this electric toothbrush a lot more as it feels less crazy abrasive.

Oral B 3D White Glamorous Shine toothpaste
I received this as a prize on twitter and whilst I had high hopes for it (anyone looked at Holly Willoughby's super pearly whites) I did not enjoy using this toothpaste. It was just too.... blue! The texture was also... I prefer toothpaste that foams up more, probably terrible but I have to admit it.

Well that felt like a lot of things but let's see what I can finish up next month!
