Some times the products that you use everyday and do not switch up, really are the ones which you take for granted and not talk about at all.
Today, I want to talk about Urban Decay's Primer Potion
First up, this is a squeezy tube sort of bottle.
I prefer this applicator as I have more control over the amount I dispense!
Once blended out, it is not really visible but does really help with staying power!
I have tried the Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer and the Nars Eyeshadow Primer, but both are deluxe samples. I also prefer the squeezey tube rather than the doe foot applicator.
Obviously after I write this blog post, I see Urban Decay's instagram of their newly launched packaging, which has a doe foot applicator. Although you can still use the squeezy part, it is pointed out by others that it is not as hygienic. Some people will love this, I don't know how I feel about the new packaging quite yet.
The Urban Decay one has been my tried and tested and I am nearing the end as I am more than 2/3 done with the product and although my curiousity is piqued by other products, reviews say that the Too Faced offering is more suited to drier eyelids as opposed to oily eyelids.
I have also had this for at least... 5 years. That is almost slightly scary, but the product is still the same and nothing has changed : scent/texture.
I may try a highstreet/drugstore offering such as L'oreal but nothing rivals the Urban Decay Primer Potion for me.
In conclusion, if your eyeshadow creases, you need an eyeshadow primer. Sometimes if your eyeshadow is not great quality, a primer can change the wear time on that as well. It even helps with eyeliner longevity. Need I say more?
