I have two pairs, one on the go (gym and travel bag) and one in my day-to-day make up collection.
When flying home from heathrow airport, I made an impromptu decision to pick up a pair of Shiseido eyelash curlers. This is partly because I always see Jen from frmheadtotoe use this.
Shu uemura is not easily available in the states (which is a great shame) so Shiseido seems to be more popular. If you are in London, shiseido is easily available at house of Fraser, Oxford street, and many other places.
The eyelash curlers are different in colour and the actual eye part differ slightly.

The shiseido pair is flatter than the Shu Uemura's.

I thought to switch them round to be a little more exciting.

Both are as effective and it depends on eye shape as well as practice.
I prefer the look of the Shiseido eyelash curlers because of the pewter finish. They also sell the refill pads separately.
However if you prefer Shu Uemura eyelash curlers and do not want to replace them all the time, Bob has discovered that Muji refills are an excellent dupe.
