Beauty Bay Haul

Oppps I did it again!

There was a 20% code and I could not help myself.

In my defence, I needed some acid toner.
Why?
I spoke to Caroline Hirons, yes THE Caroling Hirons (still fan-girling) and she said the way forward to my chest and back issues would probably be acid toner. I met her at a beauty event hosted by Caudalie and you can read about the meeting HERE

Now, just to give you a quick overview, I do not have too many concerns about my face, it's the usual slight redness on the cheeks, combination-oily and oily on the T-zone. I have battled and won aganst dehydrated skin, and the occassional hormonal breakouts.
My back and chest, however suffers from acne and is worsen by sun exposure.
Caroline kindly recommended acid toners and she mentioned a few for my skin (younger/oilier)

Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid 10% Toning Complex Clarifying Toner
Jesus this is a long name.
It has a long list of ingredients including acids and chamomile, aloe vera and vitamin C and is targeted for all skin types.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads
There are 60 pads in this and it says it will exfoliate, tone and brighten.
It is alcohol-free, safe for sensitive skin and I have read quite a lot of good reviews on this.
I cannot wait to get started on this.

Macadamia flawless cleansing conditioner
This has been spoken of a while back and I have been curious for a while.
All Beauty stocks Macadamia items but not this particular one and so when I saw it n beautybay I could not help myself.
The hair mask smells divine so I have high hopes for this, the only issue is that Dimethicone is quite high on the ingredient list and I am trying to phase silicones out from my haircare!

Japonesque velvet touch blush in 03
First off, the colour looked amazing on the website and I was dead curious.
When it arrived in the black and white box packaging I was indifferent, upon unwrapping I was pretty much blown away.
It is so beautiful, so beautiful that I have included another picture of this baby.

I actually also ordered a Anastasia Brow Pencil but was sent the wrong item which I now have to post back to Beauty Bay.
I am slightly annoyed but have decided to get a refund instead of a product replacement as I might have asked a friend to do a tad of shopping while in the states on my behalf!

They also threw in a small eyeko black eyeliner because I spent over a certain amount so I am a happy bunny about that.

How was your shopping experience with beautybay?

    1. Hello! I've been using it for slightly over a week now, no bad stinging or any bad reactions. Some parts of my back and my entire chest area has cleared up. I will be doing an in depth review later on when I've trial-ed the item enough but so far it's a yes! =D loving the cat nickname ;)
