Lip Product Addict Tag

So I watched a video collaboration of Amelia and Essie and decided that I would do a tag they created!

Obviously this is a slight modification as I am doing it in a blog post rather than video!
I have previously done the Lipstick Tag which was going around and you can read it HERE

1. Favourite Lip Balm

My current favourite is the Nuxe Reve de Miel one.
I have many lip balms and I love so many of them but this is my current favourite because I wear a lot of matte lipstick in the spring/summer and this lip balm is matte finish so it is really nice and does not make my matte lipsticks go shiny or move around!

2. Best eye catching Red

This has to go to the MAC Ruby Woo.
Does anyone else have this problem that they love their newest purchase?
First off, this is matte, which is my favourite formulation of red lipsticks and it is just bright enough but still red, and not coral or anything.
It has amazing lasting power but most of all it's just POW! for colour.

3. Best luxury and best drugstore

YSL Lip Stain in 105.
I am 1/3 through this product and I don't normally finish any lip products because I have SO MANY but this is by far my favourite high end/luxury lip product. I love this so much I hope they never discontinue this. I included this cheeky swatch of it!

Revlon Lip Butter has to be best drugstore.
I have 3 of these and I love them more than all my other drugstore lipsticks and lip glosses.
The shades are Sugar Plum, Pink Truffle and Candy Apple.
I love all 3 for Autumn/winter, all year round, Spring/Summer!

4. Best MAC lipstick

This would probably go to MAC Ruby Woo but since I already picked that, I shall pick my first MAC red/dark red which I still love to death. This is the MAC Diva.
It is really dark and can look almost vampy but I love it and it just makes me feel glamorous.

5. Most disappointing lipstick

This has to go to Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait. This was the one everyone talked about and I just wanted to try it but it has shimmer glittery bits in it and that is a big no from me.
(I do not have a picture of this as I have given it away!)

Actually the Lancome Rouge in Love 240M
I bought was a bit of a disappointment because while the colour was gorgeous, the formula went all over my lips and accentuate lines and flaws I did not even realise I had! It did not feel hydrating or moisturising and it was disappointing because I loved the red I bought from the same range.

I've included a picture of it on my lips, colour YES formula NO

6. Liner - yes or no?

YES! With dark lipstick or bright reds I absolutely need a liner.
For red I am currently using the MaxFactor Lip liner which I mentioned in a haul and you can read it HERE
I do have a clear one from Urban Decay for bright orange/pink shades and a nude one from MaxFactor (same haul) in case the other two does not work!

7. Best Gloss

I am going to cheat on this one, although both Estee and Amelia talked about 2 types of glosses
I will do one high-end/luxury and one drugstore.
Although I have a lot of Lancome glosses, I think the best high-end gloss I have has to go to the Chanel Lip Gloss in 166.
This is just beautiful, looks good on its own and looks good on top of other things.
Here is a cheeky swatch of it just on its own

Best drugstore gloss would be my new Sephora Volume Booster Gloss Serum 03.

This is also a peachy nude and is frankly the only drugstore lip gloss I could find. I did not realise all of mine are high-end! I did get this for 6.90 Euro so I am pretty sure that is drugstore price!
I got this at a recent Sephora Haul and you can read it HERE

Notice how the two shades are almost similar, the Chanel is slightly pinker and Sephora slightly peachier. I do tend to gravitate towards lip glosses of these colours and they always make my favourite compared to the true pinks or darker glosses.

8. Something Extra

The something extra definitely has to go to my Elizabeth Arden Lip Gloss in Sunset.
This is just beautiful and although it is sticky, the colour more than makes up for that.
(sorry the picture is a bit of an odd one out, the original was accidentally deleted!)
Also, Benefit glosses which matches their boxes of colours such as dandelion, coralista etc, I love all of them! I bought a small travel box with all the colours and I thought it was worth mentioning.
I don't actually have a picture of mine, sorry!
