L'occitane

I bought these pieces a while back. L'occitane is just so pretty and does packaging well and has a good ethos behind it.

Cetaphil

Cetaphil - a brand known for its simplicity and non-irritating ingredients. I will say now that this is just the moisturising lotion. I know many people use the cleanser but equally I know that Caroline Hirons does not like the cleanser so I will state that I have not tried the cleanser but this is a quick review on the Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion.

Target Haul - Maui Moisture & Gold Bond

Happy Chinese New Year to all my dear readers! I hope you are enjoying your time back with family and friends. On my recent trip to USA, I saw that they actually do Maui Moisture in travel sizes and thought it is an excellent way to try out the range. I also saw that they have the Gold Bond cream in travel size, which I had seen a few advertisements on tv, so picked that up too.

Glossier Body Hero

When Glossier first announced the launch of these two products, I was beyond excited. Shower oils are simply the best for lazy people. They feel good on the skin and you can skip moisturising afterwards! That's a win-win situation 

Mum's birthday presents

It is actually quite difficult to buy presents for my mum because she always says no and has many products to finish up. This year however, I managed to gift her something that she wants.

Glossier Haul

I placed quite a big order with Glossier just before they changed the ambassador's discount code from 20% to 10%. If you missed out on that, during Black Friday, they offered 20% to all customers (new or existing) so you may want to wait for that!

A final haul before the year ends. Truth be told, this is far from my final haul this year, but it is the last one I will write about before 2018 comes to an end.

There are so many launches from Althea at the moment! I know I have just raved about the Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask, but the Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser and Althea Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist has just landed!

Melvita

Melvita is a brand that you see me featuring now and again on the blog, and that is because I genuinely enjoy the products. I am not too sure on how I feel about their marketing, which is all about "stop the nasties" as I believe in the power of science, but they are a brand who have managed to make "natural" product feel great.

Rituals Amenities

When I go and stay at a hotel, I don't usually mind the bedroom too much but the bathroom needs to be super clean and if it looks good, I will then check out the amenities. One of the hotels I stayed in in the States had Rituals, and you can bet I was super excited.

The Body Shop British Rose

The Body Shop British Rose was something I did not expect to like as I am not the biggest rose fan but this rose is so lovely that I am pretty enamoured with the entire range!

Nard Aromatherapy Coconut Beewax Body Lotion

My uncle's family is very organic-oriented about everything, which means that apart from food, they try to use all organic products when it comes to skincare as well. So when my aunty gave us this body lotion, I was really excited to try it out!

I have to admit that I forgot about these hotel amenities when we were staying in San Francisco, but I have gotten around to it now.

If you wonder why I blog about hotel amenities, it is because sometimes certain hotels provide really lovely amenities, which is nice to flag up and sometimes hotels do their own ranges, which is helpful to know if they are servicable!

When a hotel gives you Le Labo for amenities, you know it is fancy smancy!

The Body Shop @ KLIA

What is it about shopping at the airport? It is particularly thrilling and fun in my opinion. Anyway, I do apologise that the quality of the photos are a little subpar, but I had to use hotel lighting (terrible) and make the best of it, because I was determined to use the products.

Organiq Spa

Organiq Spa is actually a stumble upon brand, because my mother brought back hotel amenities, just so that I can try them out and not feel left out. I am feeling the love!

Rocky Mountain Soap Co

My sister from Canada had bought me a whole care pack of products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co which is so sweet and thoughtful and I have to say that it was the first things I dug my grubby fingers in.
