Beauty Pie Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser vs The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser

Now on Thursday I chatted to you about The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser and today I have a bit of a comparison post!

A short background on Beauty Pie - I am a fan and have an annual membership. The Japanfusion range is very famous and popular, with this cleanser being a key player. There has also been some stock issues, including stockpiling by members/ebay sellers/Covid-19 problems.

The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser & Salicylic Acid Mask

When The Ordinary launched these two products, I pretty much legged it to Covent Garden to pick them up. It has since been a year and I have very solid opinions on both The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser and The Ordinary Salicylic Acid Mask.

Space NK

I am often tempted when Space NK has sales and I believe I placed this order as several items were on sale. In fact, all the full size items were sale items and then I picked some samples.

Caudale Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser

Space NK has a review programme for their members and I did not know this until recently I was contacted by Space NK where they asked if I would like to review the Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser. YES?!

Boots Haul #16

I need to think of more creative names than just Boots Haul because there are too many to really keep track of them.

Glossier Haul

I placed quite a big order with Glossier just before they changed the ambassador's discount code from 20% to 10%. If you missed out on that, during Black Friday, they offered 20% to all customers (new or existing) so you may want to wait for that!

The Body Shop @ KLIA

What is it about shopping at the airport? It is particularly thrilling and fun in my opinion. Anyway, I do apologise that the quality of the photos are a little subpar, but I had to use hotel lighting (terrible) and make the best of it, because I was determined to use the products.

Hada Labo Gift Set

A great way to try out Hada Labo, which is a brand that I really rate, is by getting this holiday gift set.

Senka Perfect Gel

I saw the Senka Perfect Gel on Hermo for about RM15.90 and my friend Sue Yuen really liked it when she used it to remove her makeup, so I thought, for that price, I shall give it a go too!

Hermo #11

Ever since swearing off Sephora online, I have been ordering a lot from Hermo because they offer a wide range of products and brands, as opposed to Althea's focus on Korean brands only (it is usually cheaper for Korean products though)

Turkish Skincare

While the world is besotted with French, Korean and Japanese skincare, I myself really love Japanese and French skincare, I recently tried out some Turkish skincare!

Sephora Black & Gold Private Sale (May 2018)

3 + 1 items for my most recent Sephora Black & Gold Private Sale haul, and it made quite a dent in my wallet. I try to save up and buy things to try and things to repurchase as well, so let's go through it quickly!

Althea Bare Essentials

Since Althea's very successful launch of their Althea Petal Velvet Powder which I love so much I have multiples and I have gifted it to people (p.s. they now have a Warm Beige shade, apart from the original translucent!), Althea has gone into skincare!

Hermo #7

I use a few online retailers in Malaysia and since I am no longer shopping online with Sephora, I shop more with Hermo and Althea. Hermo has super speedy delivery! Plus Cosrx is a brand sold exclusively on Hermo (Althea does not sell this brand) and Waso is Japanese, so Althea being a Korean brand, definitely does not sell Waso!

Muji Sensitive Skincare

Muji is currently running a 10% discount on the Sensitive Skin range and the Organic range and this goes on until 28th December 2018 so let me run through some of the products so that you can decide if you would like to pick them up too!

Sephora Gold & Black Members' Private Sale

Every October and February (rough estimate), Sephora does a 20% sale for its Black and Gold members. I am a Gold member at Sephora, and even though I have sworn off shopping at Sephora.my due to unsatisfactory customer service (read : REALLY BAD SERVICE), I still cannot resist visiting Sephora in store!
