Remember when I picked up this Hada Labo Hydrating Moist Limited Edition Set from Hermo? Well today we are going in depth about this set in particular!
First off, you get 3 items and this includes a travel size Hydra & Whitening Face Wash, a full size Hydrating Lotion and a travel size Hydrating Cream.
I actually picked this up because it has the full size Hydrating Lotion, which I absolutely love. There are various versions but this is the normal/original one which I really like. The light version just does not give the same oopmh and I feel like if you have combination skin, boosting hydration may help with oiliness.
I have not actually really seen this sold by itself, so I was definitely intrigued by this Hada Labo Gokujyun Cream.
The cream actually has little orange beads, which they call yellow capsules of Vitamin A, C and E.
When you apply this to skin, it actually feels substantial without being overwhelming. I definitely prefer this at night rather than mornings.
The orange beads/yellow capsules disappear as you blend it in and feels really nice.
If you have slightly drier skin, you could absolutely use this in the day time because it actually applies nicely and dries almost matte/skin like. There is no real sheen to it.
I love the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hydrating Lotion. This is, as mentioned, the reason I picked up the limited edition kit.
You can either apply it on your palms and then straight onto your face in patting motion or you can apply it to cotton pads and swipe it onto your face, then pat it on.
The liquid is not too liquidy that it would just slide off before you do anything but it is not too viscous either. It is lighter than a serum and actually helps the serum absorb better into the skin.
Finally we have the Hada Labo Hydra & Whitening Face Wash, which I was initially quite worried about, due to the "whitening" aspect of it.
Luckily for me, the whitening is more of just brightening in the form of Resveratrol, which is really more of a brightening ingredient due to its antioxidant properties. There is also bentonite clay, which helps to cleanse.
The product is viscous and I recommend splashing your face first, then squeeze some cleanser out onto your damp hands and use a little bit more water to get more of a lather. This cleanses without stripping.
It does not foam up excessively and you really do not need loads as it goes quite far. Then you just splash it all off.
So far, I love every single item from this set and Hada Labo is a really good affordable Japanese brand which I trust and love. Now go grab yours!
