Sensodyne Toothpaste
This is a bit of a random post but this toothpaste really does deserve its own blog post.
You may have heard of Sensodyne as they advertise quite extensively and always targeted towards sensitive teeth. Fortunately I do not have sensitive teeth so I generally do not have to use targeted toothpastes (they tend to cost more) but a few months ago I had one too many sour plums and had worn off part of the enamel on my tooth. The dentist verified so and advised me there was not much to be done but I could try Sensodyne, as they advertise to be helpful towards sensitive teeth.
The technology is supposed to be liquified calcium that is able to provide a coating of protection for sensitive teeth. I was skeptical but also pretty desperate at this point because brushing my teeth often brought about a sharp pain where the sensitivity was.
I am pleased to report that this toothpaste sorted out my sensitivity after just 3-4 days of brushing and I was seriously impressed. Clearly the claims are supported and they really do specialise in dealing with sensitive teeth!
I was also lucky that when I bought it they threw in a free toothbrush, so that was an added bonus.
Do you suffer from sensitive teeth? Give Sensodyne a try if you do!
