Skin problems means a skincare haul
I have been having breakouts since coming off the pill and I know it is hormonal because of where I am breaking out (chin and jaw) so I thought it was time to try and get something to counter all of this.
So the first item I picked up was actually at the counter and a purchase with purchase item, the Bio-essence Bio Treatment Essence in Oil Scar Specialist. This does not really smell of anything and is a really lightweight oil. I have not been really good with using it every night but I think it has aided the fading of scars very gradually. Just a gentle oomph rather than an accelerator.
The oil absorbs almost immediately and I tend to use just a drop for all the different scars that I have because it is really lightweight and a little goes a long way. I promise to try this properly and write a full review on this.
Next are the actual items which I initially picked up and quite a few are targeted at breakouts.
I picked up the Oxy 5% after hearing CZJouer talk about benzoyl peroxide on her snapchat and how it prevents spots from forming and I picked one up.
The packaging is really simple and you just squeeze it gently for a bit of product. A little goes a long way because this can be really drying if you overuse it.
The miacare acne patch for night is actually quite useful. You just use a little patch and stick it on your spot and then leave it until the morning. It is not obvious on the skin at all.
There is a little directions leaflet to teach you how to use it but it is simple enough. I have used it in the day time on my back and it was discreet enough for me to just wear a t shirt and head out.
The patch itself is quite sticky so you don't have to worry about it falling off once it is on. However, when removing, I do find it still really sticky and pulls at my skin when I remove it. So, even though this did help reduce any of the swelling and spots, I will not be repurchasing.
Finally this is a repurchase for me and I bought it because it was giving a free facial foam so I thought it would be an extra item for me to review for you.
The Biore UV Aqua Rich is amazing and I highly recommend it. It is really light and it can be used on the face and on the body, how convenient! It is also a drugstore product, easily purchased and simply an all round A* from me.
The Biore Makeup Removing Facial Foam is a free item but I must admit I have not tried it. It will be featured either in a full review or an empties post. I hope this is not drying!
What do you use or recommend for spots- help a girl out!
