Upon swatching, I was a little surprised at how brown Toffee Shimmer was, although it suits the name Toffee more than the packaging, but the packaging is so pink and misleading!

Here is Toffee Shimmer on me and it looks really nude on me because of the brown undertone.

It is one of the shades that I can apply and put on without a mirror and just slap on, or squeeze on in this scenario.

I am not as comfortable with a brown shade compared to a pink shade, but I do feel like this is a good way to try out these shades.

It is actually harder to apply and you need to have a mirror, as well as make sure the coverage is even so as not to have bits of red-purple and bits which have no colour.

Despite all of that, the formula is the classic Instant Light Lip Perfector and I really love the Clarins have come out with more shades. I think I was overexcited about these so they are slightly disappointing because of that, but I am glad that I have these in my collection.
