This is not even all of it.
SKINCARE
Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser
I really like this cleanser and it is not foaming from the actual cleanser which is so gentle... It is only foaming because of the pump applicator thing.
I tend to use this in the morning, as a quick, gentle wash.
I am unsure if I will repurchase, it certainly is worth it, but I want to try other cleansers!
Aesop Oil Free Facial Hydrating Serum (sample)
This is really nice, I finished it up on a trip away (which will be in the blog sometime soon). I used it as directed, without a cream on top, and it felt sufficiently moisturising, which is interesting really as it is very light (serum). I have a lot of skincare to get through so I will not be purchasing a full size of this anytime soon but it is a beautiful product which comes highly recommended by me!
Clarins Multi-Active Serum (sample)
This lasted me an incredibly long time, and I love it so much. This may well be my favourite serum from Clarins at the moment, even more than the Double Serum. However, it is really pricey, and I do not think I require all the good stuff in this serum quite yet, but I do really love it.
Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate
Basically a serum, but the word concentrate is quite apt as this is a really thick formula (don't worry it sinks in quicker than moisturiser) but you end up using less than what you would need with a thinner formula (runnier formula). I cannot vouch for its "Youth Activating" properties as at 24, I consider myself pretty youthful. The sample is cute but not really sufficient for me to see any changes in my skin. The container is plastic by the way.
Verdict : It was okay, but I am not purchasing the full-size.
Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 Cleanser
I remember loving this once upon a time, and I use it at my bf's as it is 3-in-1 and really handy. However, it has been drying my skin out recently, which is odd as it is targeted towards normal skin! I do like this, and this is a repurchase, but I am slightly wary after the drying out feeling.
Verdict : I may repurchase later on.
Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Blemish Stick
I do not know if it works, but there is something very satisfying about rubbing the stick over a spot. Now, the other problem is that I am not sure if it is very hygienic, I tend to wipe it on the back of my hand when I am done (I would have just washed my face and hands) because I think if you just rub it on the spot, surely bacteria is still there even though the stick is meant to zap the bacteria....... Overall, not my favourite skincare item.
Verdict : Will not repurchase.
Lancome Bi-Facil MakeUp Remover
In my opinion, still the best there is out there. I have done comparison posts to other two-phase makeup removers but this is still top for me. I am not repurchasing quite yet because I still have others to finish up. Currently trialing No7's version.
Verdict : Best of the lot, of course I will repurchase (eventually)
Caudalie Vinoperfect Broad Spectrum SPF15 Day Perfecting Fluid
What a mouthful. This is actually really nice. Although not as fluid as the Caudalie Polyphenol offering, this sinks in quickly when you apply it, and the creamier texture is lovely. It comes out slightly tinted, but does not change the colour of your face. I think it slightly blurs imperfections, but nothing like wearing makeup. I like the SPF15, I do wish that it was slightly higher protection. This range is also more expensive than the Polyphenol range, which offers a SPF protection of 20, so I am more inclined to repurchase that.
Verdict : Like, but cannot justify repurchasing.
Clayspray H2O Spray Hydrate Natural Spring Water 75ml
I bought this as it was on sale on BeautyBay but the spray got a little odd in the end. It was not that it went patchy, but the liquid would leak down my hand as I was spraying. ODD. I still prefer Caudalie Organic Grape Water although I am testing a few others out.
Verdict : I will not repurchase.
Caudalie Polyphenol Eye & Lip Cream
There are 2 items I love from the Polyphenol range (Serum & Day Fluid), I do not like the smell of the Detox Oil, and this, I just do not see the point of it. I hardly ever use it as a lip cream, only when I have squeezed out too much. It feels nice enough on the eyes but not enough for me to want to buy the full size.
Verdict : I will not purchase.
BODYCARE
Clarins Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate (sample)
This was lovely and I saved it all for baths rather than showers. It smells very green and nice (nothing floral) but feels very nourishing. I had to take the picture with my brown cashmere scarf as the background because it simply would not show up with a white background! I will not repurchase as I do not own a bath, but if and when I move in somewhere with a bath, I am going to Lush! (and I am picking this up)
Morissons Savers Shower Gel
Thank heavens this is finally used up. I hated this, and this was actually at the bf's place. His parents picked two up for him (WHY?!) and I have been using it as a hand wash. Finally, one is done, but I still have one to finish up. The gel is truly a gel which is green, but it does not sud up properly and it does not stay in your hands. Also, one squeeze and there is way too much product, which just then gets washed down the drain. Apart from the price tag (30p I think) there is nothing which I like about this. *shudders*Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk
From something I really hate, to something I really love. I actually kept this pot for quite a while despite finishing it up early February because it smells lush. Despite saying whipped, it feels ultra rich (also in the name) and smells quite clean. I really enjoyed using this.
Rosken Skin Repair (sample)
I was given this by my mother and although it really is a lotion rather than a cream, a tiny bit goes a long way in hydration, which is very impressive! This is available in Malaysia but I am unsure about UK. It is an amazing product at hydration!
Milette Baby Oil
I bought this in Switzerland as an all-in-one product for my hair, make up remover and so on. While it worked for me, it is unlikely for me to repurchase as this is an in-house brand sort of item at Migros (sort of like Sainsbury's over there) and this is quite fragranced, which is not something I love.
Verdict : I will not repurchase.
Caudalie Nourishing Body Lotion
I like this more than most body lotions, but I do not like body lotions. I prefer body butters. It is for that reason that I will not repurchase. The actual product has a light fragrance, sinks into skin quickly enough but not so quick that you feel like you have not actually moisturised. It is quite nourishing (as the name suggests) and a good buy in my opinion.
Verdict : I will not repurchase.
Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant (Original)
I bought this a while back to try and in the summer I did not love it, but this winter, this has been my go to deodorant. Sidenote: I use deodorants but not anti-perspirant as I think it is healthier to allow skin to do what it does, get rid of toxins through water (i.e. sweating). This is a solid deodorant, which meant it felt quite comforting and gentle. The scent is lovely in colder months but was a little too much in summer where I prefer a fresh scent.
Verdict : I will repurchase when I do a Sephora order.
Malin + Goetz Rum Body Wash
This may have arrived in the Liberty Gift with Purchase. This smells divine, but I do not like the idea of splurging on body washes which do not moisturise at the same time or have multi-functions. Not my idea of a luxe product so even though I enjoyed using it, our journey ends here.
Verdict : I will not repurchase.
HAIRCARE
Dove Hair Conditioner
A nice enough conditioner, I have tons of this, but I probably will not go out of my way to purchase it. I like the classic Dove scent.
Verdict : Still have so many!
COLAB Dry Shampoo - London
I really like this dry shampoo, and I have the Tokyo and Paris scent as well (I actually won a giveaway, received all 6 scents, kept this one and gave the other 5 away!) but this is my favourite scent, which is why it is all gone. I do prefer Klorane Oat Milk Dry Shampoo for when I need real help, but this is nice as a refresher and I am looking to try the extreme version, which has a bit more girth. I cannot recommend it enough.
Verdict : I will repurchase.
Argania Hair Oil
This smells like vanilla and is just amazing stuff. However, I have a lot of hair oils and for that reason I will not be buying anymore. I have gone to fill this up with my current hair oil (Macadamia Hair Oil) as the bottle is just so useful!
Verdict : I will not repurchase
MAKEUP
Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara with Argan Oil
Verdict : It works.
MISCELLANEOUS
Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara with Argan Oil
When this first came out, I loved it to bits but have since found mascaras I prefer. The formula is on the wetter side (which I tend not to love) but the wand is plastic (YES) and it's good for its price.
Verdict : I will not repurchase (I have at least another 8 mascaras to go through).
L'oreal Falsh Lash Telescopic Mascara (Waterproof)
I was on the fence about this one and then decided that I love it and went out to hunt for it, just to find out on twitter (I asked) that this has been discontinued *STABS SELF* Don't you just hate it when companies stop producing something you love?
Verdict : Would buy any that I see just to stock up.
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
I have tried a few of the Lancome mascaras and the lengthening one is really good, the one with glitter on the lid is too wet for me but this original formula is actually really nice. I do like it, but not like a massive love affair.
Verdict : I would repurchase if the ones I love are not available.
LUSH It started With A Kiss Lip Tint
This has completely dried out on me. I have used it a bit, there is a dent int he pot, I promise, but as you can tell from the edge of the pot, it has completely dried out. I did not use it as much because it has quite a strong scent but the actual colour pay off and how it felt on the lips and cheeks was lovely.
Verdict : I will not repurchase due to scent.
Dior Lip Glow - Colour Revival Balm
I love this, I used it until the plastic was almost cutting my lips, and I have already repurchased (well, mum got it for me really).
Verdict : LOVE
Elizabeth Arden Lip Gloss - Sunset
I first bought this because the colour caught my eye. I did not need a lip gloss (who ever does?) but I wore it for weeks at a go because I loved it. The formula is slightly sticky, which helps the staying power and makes the lips look really gigantic, but I loved the colour so much I just kept wearing it. Oh it smells really nice too. I had to chuck this as the consistency has changed when I pulled it out recently.
Urban Decay de-slick Makeup Setting Spray
I got this to try out and I have already gone out to purchase the full size one.Verdict : It works.
MISCELLANEOUS
Colgate Advanced White Toothpaste
This is the go-to toothpaste at my bf's place and I think he eats this stuff. He basically goes through about 1 toothpaste per 2 weeks. How is that possible?!I like this particular colgate one, but I do like anything that says whitening.
Nails Inc Portobello Place (Graffiti)
This is gorgeous but it has dried out, much like the other graffiti one I bought. Unfortunately the lasting power is not quite the same as usual nail polishes so I have had to bin this (ouch! as Nails Inc is not cheap)
OPI German-icure
This really is tiny because it was part of the Top Ten by OPI. I do not like the purple because it is sort of multi-dimensional, holographic and all that, so I am gifting this as it is still in really good condition.
Verdict : Not my colour but OPI polishes are worth the money.
Huggies Pure Baby Wipes
I purchase these in bulk and although I no longer use them to remove make up (the horror) I like to wipe my hands on these when I am doing my make up, and to wipe up any spills and messes. Very handy!
Verdict : Still have a stash
