Freebies and a tad of shopping at space NK #4

I got a load of freebies when I met up with Bob for lunch.

The lovely lady understands my obsession with both skincare and make up and brought my some samples and I tried not to take everything and picked the ones which I know I will probably love, which was most of the things anyway -greedy much.

So first off is the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer 8g
I have been wanting to buy tarte cosmetics for a while now and even though I got a friend to buy my the Tarte 24hour Amazonian Clay Blusher in the USA, they had sold out of the shade I picked out - blissful. So I thought there goes my plan for trying Tarte, and then I got this concealer.

Stemcell super-food facial oil 10ml

This is targeted at dehydrated skin and claims to have omegas 3, 6, and 8 as well as Vitamin A, that is seriously a lot of nutrients. It smells good as well!

Davines Absolute Beautifying Oil 12ml

Targeted at all hair types, this smells really good and I like hair oils, so win-win!

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet 3ml

I have tried this out at the Caudalie Boutique on Monmouth Street, Covent Garden in London and I really like it. It costs a little more as it is targeted at sensitive skin, which I do not have, so I did not purchase the full size. It is still really nice to have a little sample of this!

Goldfaden MD Doctor's Scrub 3.75g

This smells really zesty and looks to be a creamy scrub

ThisWorks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray 5ml

I wanted to purchase this but never got around to it, partly because I really do not need help sleeping, and partly because I was a little scared that I would not like the scent of it.
I need not have worried, it smells of lavender and all things nice!

I almost forgot, because I took it away on my trip with me and didn't put it with the pile of samples...
my first ever Lipstick Queen!
This is the Chinatown Glossy Pen in Chase

After that we walked around and she showed me a place at Covent Garden called Blow, which I plan to revisit soon. They stock Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow products and Jouer. Goodbye budget.

We then popped into Space NK and I tried out the Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser and bought it in the shade Tawny.

I have a very difficult face to skin match because my forehead is rather tanned compared to the rest of my face, especially my cheeks. At the same time, my neck is really fair, probably a whole shade fairer, so trying to match the whole face is a bit of an ordeal without looking like a clown or orange.

This matches my forehead completely but I really have to bring it down to my neck or risk looking immensely stupid.
I have been using this and I really like it so far, but hold on for a proper review of this.

I will be writing a review on the products when I have finished them up properly!
Have you tried any of these?

  1. Great Freebies! And yay you met up with Bob! Her food blog look awesome!

The Laura Mercier TM sounds good, I really want to try the silk creme foundation from her range. But I bought a couple of new foundations when I went to Sephora in Dubai so I can justify any more purchases atm.

    xx

    1. Yes let us know when you are down in London next!
I really like the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, it is a little too dark for me (my fault) but it leaves a gorgeous finish and I use it when I want to look more tanned/glowy =D
