Daiso probably will not strike you as the place to pick up makeup but maybe it is (if you are, let me know what do you pick up from there)
This is the Daiso Makeup Brush Cleaner and it is actually a high alcohol content cleaner (I could smell it as soon as I opened the bottle).
Even though there is a perfectly usual and standard lid, I do not actually pour this anywhere.
what I actually do, is to pour the cleaner into the lid completely and use it that way.
Here we are, with the cleaner in the lid, where you probably cannot see it due to the colour but it is there.
I just picked a random eyeshadow brush that has been very well used and coated in eyeshadow powder to clean up.
What you then do is just swirl it around the liquid cleaner and the brush looks pretty clean, then you rinse and then dry them and the brushes are then super clean!
Next we have the Daiso Puff Sponge Detergent, which I am proper powering through.
Here is my super grubby Breena Beauty sponge, which is light pink in colour but it is pretty much foundation in colour here.
Just a close up to show you how grubby the sponge is, in case it was not obvious enough.
Then all you do is to squeeze the detergent onto the sponge (squeeze out any water beforehand) and then use your hands to really work it into the sponge.
Work work work work work
The more you work the detergent into the sponge, the less grubby it will look. If your sponge is particularly bad, you can do it twice.
What you then do after this is to rinse it under running water.
Voila! Can you believe how clean and pink this sponge looks?!
The reason I have been powering through this detergent is that it makes cleaning sponges (a total pain) a total breeze and at RM5.30, you can bet I will be picking more of this detergent up!
