Althea Party All Night Box

Althea Party All Night Box has both makeup (helllllo partayyyy) and some skincare to help perk your skin up after your party all night! Get it? Get it?

Like all Althea orders, this came in a beautiful pink box. I personally collect the boxes to reuse as gift boxes, to store makeup and my mum has taken a few to store items too!

If you are not actually sure what Althea is, where have you been? Althea is one of my favourite e-retailers because you are pretty much certain to get things (150 Korean brands!) cheaper here than anywhere else. This is because they actually ship direct from Korea, which means shipping takes a little longer than other retailers. One of their bestsellers is the Althea boxes.

Everything comes well packaged in plenty of bubble wrap, as well as pink tissue paper, to ensure that the products survive the journey all the way from Korea!

So what is an Althea Box? I had perviously talked about the Althea Box on a previous blogpost about the Althea Green & Gold Box , but essentially, Althea launches 2-3 themed boxes each month. Previous theme have included Chok Chok (Korean dewy look), Dried Rose, Born This Way, Dewy Skin, Hair, Glitter and all sorts! If you are wondering about previous themes, you can have a look HERE but basically, it is an assortment of products within a theme, for a big discount!

So in this Althea Party All Night Box, you get 1 cleanser, 2 serums, 1 eyeshadow palette, 1 lip product, 1 concealer and 1 setting spray. That is a lot of product for RM118 (it is actually worth RM369).

There are about 13 different types of Power 10 Formula, which means that you are highly unlikely to be unable to find any serums to suit your skin. Best part? This costs Rm30-RM33 per 30ml. That is ridiculously affordable and instantly made me think of Deciem, except this is even more accessible here in Asia. I have the anti-aging one and the whitening one. It is hard to see effects from just 2 usage from a sachet (you get about 2 uses per sachet) but the formula feels nice and I certainly do not mind getting a hydrating one.

This Maxclinic Oil Foam is quite an interesting one. It is an oil cleanser, which means it is great at taking off makeup. Then when you add water, instead of turning milky like most oil cleansers, this actually foams up! So when you wash it off, it really is easy to wash off. Amazing.

The oil actually squeezes out almost like a gel oil texture, with a bit of viscosity. It has a fresh scent but more importantly, it washes off super easily, especially if you do not use a lot. It turns into a foam and disappears with water!

I ran a micellar water wipe over my face after using this with a full face of makeup and there was nothing left. NOTHING. I am repurchasing this because I am that blown away by it. There is no need to double cleanse because this BLITZES makeup off.

I am pretty pleased that this Althea Party All Night Box includes a full cover liquid concealer. You can always use a concealer as a foundation by sheering it out or just dab it where you need a bit more coverage.

The Aritaum Full Cover Liquid Concealer comes with a quite standard doe foot applicator. I think that it is easy to use doe foot applicators with concealers as you can easily apply it to where you want.

If you are applying it near spots, I would recommend dabbing it on your fingers first, instead of straight onto the spot, to avoid contamination!

The Aritaum Full Cover Concealer dries quite matte and is definitely very high coverage. When used on the face, I find I can skip powder but under the eyes, I still powder lightly because I do not want my eyeliner or mascara to smudge!

It is quite light in colour, but when blended under the eyes work quite well to brighten without being completely white! There was no issue with creasing or eye makeup transferring so I like this.

Next we have this Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold. This shade is actually the darkest from the range of 5.

The box it comes in is quite cute and the actual product is simple enough, which I like.

Somehow the shade name Rose Gold made me think of a metallic rose gold shade, or like the jewellery shade, but it is not. In fact, there is nothing metallic about this shade!

It is just a deeper mauvey shade with hints of brown in it. It applies a lot sheerer on the lips and feels cooling and watery. It dries down still looking glossy and does not feel dry! In fact, it is so comfortable to wear that I forgot I was wearing any lip product and went to wipe my mouth really harshly after a meal and so the product came off.

Next we have the Sixteen Brickit Shadow Hit 10 Choco Kit. This is clearly made to look like a chocolate bar. It even has the metallic chocolate foil in box form.

When you take it out of the metallic foil box, you get the actual palette, which is really chocolate-y goodness.

When you open the palette up, the shades are so beautiful. I am a real sucker for eyeshadow palettes in this neutral warm spectrum. They are just so easy to wear and beautiful on the eyes.

First up you have 3 very light colours. The first is egg nog, matte pale yellow, followed by cotton sugar, a satin white and sweet latte, a matte pale pink. Then you have milk coco, a matte light brown which is a good blending out colour as it is very near to my actual skin tone.

This is then followed by rose macaron, a satin peach shade, hazelnut syrup, a satin rose gold brown, cinnamon powder, a metallic copper and deep brownie, a satin bronze shade. These 4 colours are super fun to wear and are my favourites in the palette.

Then you have the dark shades - melting ganache, a satin deep brown that has a hint of purple and cacao 100, a matte black.

The matte shades are surprisingly soft and very smooth. The satin shades are nice as well but the "metallic" shades actually just look satin when swatched.

Here are the swatches of all the shades, without any eye primer. The lighter shades are not super pigmented, which I actually like because it can be hard to blend out a harsh white. The middle satin/shimmer shades are so beautiful. The brown with a hint of purple would be gorgeous to line the eyes with, and the black, while I am grateful for its inclusion, it is not the smoothest or darkest but you are able to build this up.

Finally we have the Saat Konstante Eleganz Fixer. You can purchase this in either 50ml or 100ml.

I actually do not think I have ever tried a spritz that is so fine and so wide in its range. Consider me impressed! The formula smells very faintly of flowers. It is not annoying or cloying at all. Perhaps because of how fine the mist is, it is not sticky on the face at all.

So here is the first of the 3 looks I created with the Althea Party All Night Box, specifically the Aritaum Full Cover Liquid Concealer in Sand Beige, Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold as well as the 16 Brand 16 Brickit Shadow Hit 10 Coco[Sweet Latte all over the eye lids and Hazelnut Syrup as eyeliner].

I used Sweet Latte because it was a soft matte pink, all over the eyelids, and Hazelnut Syrup, a satin rose gold brown, to line my eyelids for some dimension.

I put on a layer of the Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold and it looks very glossy and pretty on the face.

So here is the second of the 3 looks I created with the Althea Party All Night Box, specifically the Aritaum Full Cover Liquid Concealer in Sand Beige, Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold as well as the 16 Brand 16 Brickit Shadow Hit 10 Coco [Sweet Latte all over the eye lids,  Rose Macaron in the centre of the lids, Milk Coco in the crease  and Hazelnut Syrup as eyeliner].

So from the second look, I added Rose Macaron, which is a satin peach shade in the centre of the lids for more of a pop and then Milk Coco, which is a matte light brown shade, in the crease for dimension.

I also amped up the lip by adding a second layer of the Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold and it looks darker and has a different mood about it.

So here is the final of the 3 looks I created with the Althea Party All Night Box, specifically the Aritaum Full Cover Liquid Concealer in Sand Beige, Keep In Touch Water Lip Tattoo in Rose Gold as well as the 16 Brand 16 Brickit Shadow Hit 10 Coco [Sweet Latte all over the eye lids,  Rose Macaron in the centre of the lids, Cinnamon Powder in the inner corner of the eyes, Melting Ganache in the outer corners of my eyes,  Milk Coco and Deep Brownie in the crease  and Hazelnut Syrup as eyeliner, Cacao 100 on the lower lash line].

I definitely amped it way up for the eyes with this look as it is the boldest on the eyes, I pared back on the lips, going for a soft nude peachy lip look.

The eyes are shimmery yet smokey and all the shades used have been listed, and they are all from the one palette!

What do you guys think of the 3 looks I created with this?

So these are all the items you get with this Althea Party All Night Box, and as expected, there are more makeup products than skincare. I think this box is really fun and frankly just for the fixer and the eyeshadow palette, it is already worth the entire box. The price of the eyeshadow palette on its own is RM120 on the Althea site, and this entire box costs RM118. You do the math!
