I picked up Catrice Eye'Matic Eyepowder Pen in 040 Keep Calm and Love This Colour as well as Catrice Eye'Matic Eyepowder Pen in 050 Al Cappuccino.

Now, the packaging looks like your usual pen style, but you unscrew the cap and the powder product is housed in the cap and the actual pen part is for ease of holding and you dip the sponge into the cap to obtain enough eyeshadow powder.

Catrice Eye'Matic Eyepowder Pen in 040 Keep Calm and Love This Colour is a warm champagne colour which is an easy colour to love.

Catrice Eye'Matic Eyepowder Pen in 050 Al Cappuccino is a taupey brown colour that is more on the neutral side rather than either cool or warm. The colour intensity is not very strong which makes it an easy colour to swipe on.

The eyeshadow colours perform better with a primer and there is a slight fallout when I smudge it on straight from the sponge and there is definitely a slight fallout when I try to blend it out. The eyeshadow also need primer to last a good time or you'll risk having no eyeshadow by the time you get home after a long day at work!

I liked the idea of the Catrice Eye'Matic Eyepowder Pen but sadly I don't think it leaves up to the idea and needs improvement. It is better to just wear a cream shadow like the Maybelline colour tattoos or a pen style eyeshadow like Sephora shadow and liner or Maybelline colour tattoo or even the Laura Mercier Caviar sticks, for a beautiful and fuss-free eyeshadow look.
