I went to Harvey Nichols last night to attend the "A Beautiful Mind" event which had a whole host of amazing women on the panel!

This was the event and I was super excited and so RSVP-ed as soon as I received the invite and popped along with Nick.

So I may have raved about meeting Caroline Hirons at the Caudalie beauty event, and had two separate blog posts for it because I am an excited little fan girl, but I recently read a cover on the story and it put mine to complete shame.

Not only are the pictures gorgeous (I tend to use my phone or small portable camera WHOOPS),

Harriet even mentions the Top 5 Caudalie products which Caroline recommends, which I obviously did not.

I read it, saw a picture of myself looking WAY TOO excited but it was 1. with Caroline Hirons 2. with a super camera so all in all I am beyond flattered and just .....

Excitement levels are very high, can you sense it just from reading?

Caudalie Event

So I attended a Caudalie event and did quite a bit of damage.

I basically had paid £25 to meet Caroline Hirons but it was totally worth it and the £25 was redeemable against products.
I tried to stay within that budget but did end up having to shell out another £25.

Meeting THE skincare guru

I was initially a bit nervous about the Caudalie event, because I was afraid I would be the only one who has turned up without a friend, but lo and behold, I made a few new friends actually!


More importantly, I finally got to meet THE Caroline Hirons.

Yes, it deserves the caps.


Most beauty blogger and avid beauty blog readers know about Miss Hirons (correction Mrs**).

If you think she's funny on her blog/youtube, she's funny and amazing in real life.

I know I am fan-girling, but this pretty much is the first time I have made an effort to go and meet someone I admire and have had the opportunity of conversation and.........

a picture!

Thank you for an amazing night full of witty conversations and product introduction.
Can't be easy to be bombarded with questions all night but Caroline held up like the woman that she is.

As for me? I might have bought a couple of things and gotten quite a lot of samples.
So hang on, for a haul post!
