I have recently done another lip clear out, and I sincerely think that out of all the categories, lips are one of the worst for me. Okay I have quite a lot of foundation and eye makeup too, but lip products are out of control.

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are a really nice formula and I like the ones I have tried so I wanted to pick out more to test out.

Hermo #6

Apart from Sephora, Hermo stocks Shiseido WASO products, much to my delight. I tend to check prices across different sites and certain items are cheaper on Hermo than on Sephora - double score!

I have also seen Shiseido WASO being stocked in Parkson if you are wanting to go in store to pick it up!

NYX Angel Veil Primer

The NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer is not available in Malaysia even though we have NYX in Sephora Malaysia and on Hermo.my but they do not sell this NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer so when I went to the States and I saw NYX sold in Ulta, this was the first thing I picked up.

Almost unbelievably, my first visit to Ulta and I came away with 4 items. I was a little shopped out by this point and I had no idea what to buy so I settled on things I had heard a lot about and lipsticks that I know I will like.

I love a good liquid lipstick and I prefer mine to have a matte finish. So I picked this NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream up because I saw many good reviews on blogs for it and Sephora had 20% off, bringing this down from RM30 to RM24.  I initially picked 3 shades up from swatching but most of them were out of stock and so I could only pick this one up.

I popped by the mall and there was a Bath & Body Works shop. I think I can be forgiven for going slightly mad at that sight, but soon realise that while it is affordable in the US, it is a little pricey in Malaysia.

Last year, nearing Christmas I did a post focusing on dark lips, and then another on red lips. This year I am thinking of the same, with this week focusing on lip glosses! Next week will be the pinks, and then the dark lipsticks I have, and then the reds, and the week after will be a look at my nude shades, so that will cover all bases or should I say, all glosses!
