On a recent Sephora order, my Godmother received these samples, which she offered to me and I happily took from her.
First Aid Beauty is quite a underhyped brand. The products are actually quite lovely and this First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream is no different. It feels hydrating on the face and is equally nice in the day time under makeup or at night as a cream to seal in everything else. I enjoyed using this and there is a pleasant light scent. Those who do not like fragrance will not like this.
There is also the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick sample, of which I received shell and nude. Shell is a little too light on me whereas nude is just a little too orange, so perhaps warm ivory is my shade. This is so intensely pigmented I was pretty blown away. A little goes a very long way and the formulation is so beautiful. It really blends into the most perfected base. I am tempted to pick this up after trying it.
Samples are a good way to find out about products and sometimes they will confirm that you hate them, or you can suss out if you will get a reaction from the product. Sometimes you will be underwhelmed or will not remember about it after some time. On the occasional times that you are truly blown away, you know it is time to buy the full size!
