I realise I have been away from my blog for quite a long time with no real updates and I do hope you will forgive me, for it has been a very busy few months. I have relocated and a lot is happening on the personal side of things, but let's look at some bits I picked up at Watsons because my skin was not happy with me.
First up I picked up the Ginvera Marvelwhite which is meant to be a really effective blackhead removal gel. I remember trying this years ago but being overzealous and leaving my nose really quite sore. However, I saw it again and could not resist picking it up!
Then we have the Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub. This is surprisingly gentle and so can be used everyday without causing too much problems on my combination skin in hot and humid weather. I do tend to use it on problem areas and try not to use it twice daily. The scent is refreshing and I enjoy using it.
THe main reason I went to Watsons, was to pick up a conditioner and I enjoy the entire L'oreal Botanicals Fresh Care range. I do tend to pick them based on scent as they all work pretty well for me.
This was yet another impulse purchase because my skin was not great, but the Pure Beauty Illuminating Urban Shield Radiance Serum, while it feels smooth and nice on the skin, contains silicones and fragrance, which makes me really doubt myself on picking it and I must admit it has since been relinquished to the back of the shelves.
Finally we have the totally random but veery necessary dental floss. I picked this because it was the tiniest I could find, which makes it not the cheapest or most economical. However, this is the one in my travel bag so I think it will last me for a long time.
That is my totally random pick up at Watsons with a few loves - conditioner, daily scrub, a necessity - floss, and 2 totally impulsive purchases. Have you tried these items before?
