Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer

Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer is one of the items Althea Korea has recently launched in the new makeup range!

At the moment there are 4 shades - Vanilla, Ginger, Honey and Mocha.

Here is a quick swatch of the concealers. Vanilla has a cooler undertone whereas the other 3 shades are warmer and more yellow toned.

The formula feels creamy and easy to blend out, but certainly will need some powder to help it stay in place. The pigmentation is also decently high for a concealer!

Here I have swatched 3 shades, knowing that the shade Vanilla is too light for my skintone. From left to right, we have Ginger, Honey and Mocha.

Before even blending out, it is obvious that Mocha is too dark for me. Upon blending, Honey looks too dark as well whereas Ginger might work.

So here I am without any concealer but with my foundation on and ready to go.

The shade I use under my eyes to conceal my dark circles is actually Honey which looks a little too dark when swatched on my cheek near my jawline.

The reason being that a lighter colour concealer usually leaves me looking a little odd and almost as if I have reverse panda eyes going on. I normally need a slightly darker concealer to cover up the dark circles.

So that is the under eyes area done and you can see how easily that was blended out just with fingers!

To go around the face, I actually use the lighter shade (2nd in the range) - Ginger. I use it on areas of redness around the nose, as well as as on top of my eyebrows to give a bit more definition there.

Luckily the doe foot applicator is slim and easy to get precise application around the face.

There we have it, 2 concealers for all over concealing. I am personally able to use the shade Mocha for contouring and definition around the face as well.

I really hope that Althea Korea will be able to launch more shades with their concealer as I find it to be really good and effective. I am actually pretty certain I will be restocking these when I run low or run out. The only reason I am not stock piling is because I am on a beauty clear out!
