All About Lips #186 - Elizabeth Arden Toast To a Kiss Set

What is it about mini size products that just gets us so excited? They are extra adorable, easy to travel with, take up little to no room and are just a joy to behold!

This Elizabeth Arden Toast To a Kiss Lip Gloss set is a really lovely gift set. I was gifted this by a friend who visited the States, and it comes already nicely presented in a tin, so you do not even have to wrap it up!

Inside you get 4 lip glosses of varying shades, 2 nudes, 1 coral and 1 red.

The shades are called Precious Petal, Latte, Coral Kiss and Red Door Red.

Being a gloss, the lip colours are not as pigmented but contain sparkles and are very shimmery on the lips.

If you prefer a punchier lip, you will have to wear a lipstick under before applying the gloss. I like wearing lip glosses just as they are.

Starting off with a picture of me with no lip products whatsoever.

Here I am sporting the shade Precious Petals, which gives a shiny but muted look to the lips.

I personally prefer the shade Latte which is a smidge deeper and gives the lips a slightly tawny look.

The doefoot applicators are slim and easy to use to apply the lip products. Here I am applying the shade Coral Kiss without any mirror to help!

Here is Coral Kiss, which is my favourite shade to wear. I love the hint of peachy pink it lends to my lips which makes me look bright and healthy and happy. It is a happy colour in my opinion.

Finally here we have Red Door Red, which is more of a neutral red whereas I was expecting it to be warmer from the colour in the tube. It is surprisingly easy to wear and the hint of red from a gloss (as opposed to a strong matte red lip) is very pretty and non statement.

Gloss is making a comeback this year after years of the matte lip. What do we think of the trend? Are you a gloss or liquid lip sort of girl?
