I don't actually wear a lot of cushion makeup because I personally am not someone who likes to touch up on the go, which is cushion makeup's forte, this Tony Moly Crystal Mini Cushion Blusher was a really good find!
The colour of the packaging reflects the colour of the blush, which is a nice touch for sure. It is not a giant cushion, which seems to be a trend at the moment and I have no idea why, because the whole point of cushion makeup is that it is portable!
While the name suggests that this is smaller than usual, I do not actually find it that small. The sponge in the cushion is functional and nice. Since the portion that comes into contact with the blush and your face is a pink peach colour, it does not get super grubby like how a white surface would.
Like all new cushions, this comes with a safety seal to ensure freshness of your product and hygiene. If your cushion does not come with this seal, I would really double check that this is the norm with the product!
When you peel off the safety seal, you will reveal this porous sponge with quite a bit of product in it and it's immediately ready to go! Be sure to always close the cover back properly after use to prevent the cushion from drying out.
The peachy orange shade is actually really very pretty and quite a natural flush on the cheeks. The liquid formula means that it actually looks slightly dewy on the skin without being super shiny.
It just blends into the skin really nicely and almost meshes into one without the made up look of a powder blush.
Here I have a really light layer of the Tony Moly Crystal Mini Cushion Blusher in Peach Orange on my cheeks, but I wanted to amp it up to better show you in the shots (you always need more makeup for photography than for real life)
The cushion sponge shape is just about the right size for your cheeks as well. Dab it into the cushion and then blend it out and ....
