For Beloved One Metasleep Brightening Lumi's Key

For Beloved One is a Korean brand that can be found in Sephora. I will be the first to admit that I am not the biggest fan of Korean skincare, mainly because there is a lot of focus on whitening and even from the makeup, you can tell that fairness is a very important aspect of beauty.

The first of the 4 products from this range, is the For Beloved One Metasleep Brightening Lumi's Key Toner. The product is meant to discourage melanin formation, and have a focus on brightening more than straight up whitening.

Upon applying from the cotton pad, the toner feels soft but have almost a slightly sudsy/bubbly/soapy kickback but there is no soapy residue on the skin at all, just a slight formation of bubbles on the actual cotton pad.

Next up we have the For Beloved One Metasleep Brightening Lumi's Key Essence which comes in a really complicated looking applicator, which DOES NOT WORK.

I presume that you are suppose to squeeze the product out from this rounded tip for precise application but what ends up happening is that there is no way for the product to come out and once I tried to squeeze it so hard the whole applicator jetted and flew out.

So what I end up having to do is to dismantle the whole thing to get to the actual product. The actual product is really nice, more like a serum than an essence (slightly thicker), applies smoothly, evenly and easily. The applicator gets a -5/5.

The product that made me first notice and sit up about the brand is this For Beloved One Metasleep Brightening Lumi's Key Lotion.

The texture is just right for a day moisturiser, neither too light to feel like it is insufficient, and not too heavy on the skin. I do not know how they have achieved it, but applying this is super nice and definitely an experience I look forward to.

Finally we have the For Beloved One Metasleep Brightening Lumi's Key Jelly which is more of a night treatment.

This really feels like a light jelly and is cooling to apply to the skin. It provides hydration while sealing in whatever else you have applied, which is nice.

Overall, I was really impressed with this kit, which was a gift with purchase from Sephora that my friend Bob kindly gave to me. I have finally gotten round to using it and I must admit I loved the textures of every single product. They are all slightly and gentle scented since they smell the same but it is very pleasant and something I would look into using.
