Too Faced Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oil Waterproof Mascara Dissolver |
I was lucky enough to have gotten a sample of the Too Faced Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oil Waterproof Mascara Dissolver, which is really the longest name ever. It is such a tongue twister! Like a good beauty blogger, I put it through the tests and I am pleased to be able to tell you that it delivers!

Since what I received was a sample, it is extra dinky. There is no real scent to the product but a slight inoffensive fume. The packaging is sleek and you may mistake it for an eyeliner or mascara tube! It is quite light because it is just plastic packaging.

The wand is really interesting as there are no bristles on it. The wand is coated with the cleansing oil and it is easy to just swipe it onto the lashes. I actually tried it the way I apply my mascara, just from the bottom of the lashes, root to tip. On my other eye I tried it on the bottom of the lashes as well as the top of the lashes, so properly coating my lashes from root to tip. I then left it to sit for a while and work its magic.

As you can see, right at the base of my hand near the wrist, the cleansing oil is pretty much colourless. It did make taking waterproof eye makeup off a breeze. I used my toughest waterproof mascara, which is the Heroine Make Long and Curl Super Waterproof Mascara and when I went in with a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover, it all came off very easily.
So, without a doubt, this product works. If you struggle with the removal of waterproof mascara, this will be an asset! A total game changer in your makeup arsenal. I personally don't think I would purchase a full size of this because I don't have any issues with the removal of my waterproof eye makeup but I think that it really does make a difference. I am just too lazy to add yet another step.
Would I recommend it? Yes I really would! This was a really pleasant surprise.
