The colour is so beautiful, a really bright and pigmented dark pink. I was all heart-eyed emoji when I picked this colour up.

It promptly went into the shopping cart and yes, I bought it on a complete whim but I love this so so much.

Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Boudoir on my lips. The slightest swipe gives you plenty of colour. I love the level of pigmentation on this, but be warned, it is not matte.

In fact, I think this is a satin finish lipstick. Somehow, the Velour Lovers, have me thinking matte, but it is not. What it is, is a gorgeously pigmented satin finish lipstick.
Here is a really close up of my lips/the lipstick on me and the more I look at it, the more I love it.

Yes, this is not transfer-proof but even after eating, some of it is left. It is not as budge-proof as a matte liquid lipstick but it is more comfortable and less drying on the lips.
