Ever since I heard that the Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother is a dupe for the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector, I wanted to get my hands on it to do a comparison.

The packaging is certainly very similar, with the tube indicating the colour and the applicator being a fuzzy doe foot. The product is smaller than the Clarins one, but it is still quite generous in size (considering that I hardly ever finish lip products).

Here is the concentrated swatch of the product on the back of my hand. The product will be sheered out when applied to the lips.

I picked the Catrice up for RM18.90 whereas the Clarins is £15.80 on Escentual, making it about RM90 in Malaysia.
Here is the product on my actual lips

It is a very sheer wash of peach and it is actually lighter than my lip colour.

I think this is a beautiful colour but I will need a heavier make up to complement this lip look.

The lip product is sheerer than the Clarins offering, and the scent is slightly different, still sweet but different. The colour payoff is not as good compared to the Clarins but for the price you can't really complain.

Overall I am very impressed with this product and I would pick up more colours if I can but the lady at Guardian Pharmacy told me that the item is being discontinued. I am not sure if this is true, but it is a lovely little product that if you can get your hands on, you should!
