Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Blackcurrent & Moringa Oil, Imperial Leather Mouthwatering Fruit Salad Shower Cream, Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Watermelon & Jojoba Oil |
A few days ago, Will and I were looking at the bath products and we were actually running really low on shower gels. Sure, I had tons of the little travel sized ones but realistically we needed to get a few for daily use. So we went to Boots (as you do, although we later popped into Superdrug and every single shower gel is cheaper by about 15-20p there). For a change, I let Will pick up the shower gels and he picked up these 3!

Imperial Leather Mouthwatering Fruit Salad Shower Cream |
First up is this Imperial Leather Mouthwatering Fruit Salad Shower Cream. This actually has sweets written on the bottom (you might be able to spot it) and it really just smells like sweets. There's no other way to describe it. The shower cream is thick, as you may expect from a shower cream, but sort of has a jelly like consistency. I find myself struggling sometimes as the shower cream will just slide right off my hand and down the drain before I can even save it! I love the scent of this and although I will always love the Japanses spa version, this is a win in my books.

Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Blackcurrent & Moringa Oil |
Next up is one of the two Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Blackcurrent & Moringa Oil which Will picked up. This one sounded promising with Blackcurrent in its name, but I really dislike it. It smells like medicine to me. Hence, I have never used it. Will seems to like it, but has shown preference for the other two! So... why did we buy this one again?

Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Watermelon & Jojoba Oil |
Lastly, is possible one of my favourite (it's hard to decide between this and the Imperial Leather Fruit Salad Shower Cream) - Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Watermelon & Jojoba Oil. Will picked this because he knows I love watermelon. The scent is very fresh yet fruity (not sharp like lemons) and it has a sweet hit. The jojoba oil also makes this quite moisturising although I am a stickler for moisturising after showers so this is an added bonus rather than a necessity for my shower gel.
Overall, I think brands are upping their game when it comes to products in general and we are now able to get really good quality and rather delicious smelling shower gels without paying a fortune for it! Yes the occasional treat is wonderful but from day to day, it is nice to be able to have something so affordable yet so pleasant!
