Fast forward a few months and I have repurchased the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser 3 in 1 Cleansing Gelée in a full size pot after receiving a deluxe sample in a beauty box, and I even have the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser in a deluxe sample. I believe it came as a free gift with an Escentual order.

Starting with the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser, this one is not drying on the skin. I think that the foam is actually from the pump action of the bottle. This is a lovely cleanser to use in the morning as it is easily rinsed off (I sometimes use a flannel/face towel) and it smells AMAZING. Ole Henriksen cleansers are heavily scented so if you really do not like any scented skincare products, this will not be for you. I personally like some scents even though I generally prefer skincare to be unscented and this is one of those that I think smells REALLY good.

A repurchase is this gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser 3 in 1 Cleansing Gelé2. Now what is the 3 in 1? Basically you apply a small amount to dry skin, and the gel formula (it is like an oily gel) melts on contact and you can then massage it into the skin. I prefer it as a second cleanse or morning cleanse but it does remove make up if you want to use it as your first cleanse in the evenings. You are then asked to add water to emulsify it, and then to remove it with a damp cloth. I skip the emulsifying and go straight to removal.

Like the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser, this is scented. It smells citrusy (orange, like its colour?) and although I love the texture for evenings, it is really lovely in the mornings too so I do use it that way.

The texture is certainly an interesting one and if you find the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm too heavy, you may enjoy this offering from Ole Henriksen.

I have just received a birthday present containing little goodies from Ole Henriksen (perks of having birthdays in December = gift sets are aplenty!) and I will be writing up on those when I have tried the little goodies out!
