This is technically a nudey colour which leans more red but I only wear this when I want more of a colour and not when I want a nude lip so I thought it might be a good option for those of you who are more afraid of the bright bright red. One option if to wea a toned down red like this, another is to wear a sheer lipstick.





Next is the MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo, one of my go-to lipsticks.

I love this lipstick because once it is on, you can eat and drink and it will not budge. You may need to top up the colour slightly but it will not be smearing halfway down your face. Incredible. This is a really neutral red, I would even say that it has a tinge of cool.

Possibly the most orange red I own, this is easy to apply because of its liquid lipstick and doe foot applicator. It is meant to be matte but I find that to get a matte finish, you have to blot it. This is similar to the Maybelline offering in that it is meant to be matte but really, you need to blot it with a piece of tissue to have a matte finish. I prefer the packaging of this to the Maybelline and the red is slightly more neutral, making it more wearable for me. If you want to read more about this product, you can read it HERE.



That is the round up of the 4 reds I have at the moment, and the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 01 and 03 (my personally favourite because it has a more pink finish) are incredible as well.
