VASELINE - this gets a lot of stick for mineral oil, but I personally have no issue with mineral oil and this is just a good, cheap way to go forward.
I use it for many things, including moisturising lips, over cuts, over itchy patches, to smooth eyebrows down, to smooth flyaway hairs down... There are so many uses to vaseline!
There is no doubt that when used inappropriately, such as on already dehydrated skin, without any moisture, vaseline only serves to seal the skin from any moisture it can possibly absorb.
Plus, anyone who runs... would understand the need for vaseline, to prevent chafing! It really is no fun....
