Today let's look at
First up let's take a look at the Caudalie Polyphenol Anti Wrinkle Defense Serum
It comes in a pipette form (not my favourite as I ALWAYS overdo it)
it is quite a watery/liquidy formula which sinks in as soon as I smooth it over my skin. It has a slight scent, nothing offensive at all.
Here it is blended out and I tend to wait a tiny bit, before going in with the next product!
Next I go in with the Caudalie Polyphenol SPF20 Anti Wrinkle Protect Fluid
There is a cream version but I have only tried the fluid version and I really like it so I do not plan to even try the cream version. I squeeze out a good amount and smooth it over my face.
This blends out and does not leave a white cast. As it is a fluid it really is lightweight and I really like that it has SPF20 in it. I do typically use a tinted moisturiser or foundation which has SPF as well.
The rationale behind double SPF is that I don't look for too much in my daytime moisturiser as I am more on the normal/combination skin so I just want something that gives me a bit of hydration and plenty of protection. Hence, the moisturiser with SPF. The foundation with SPF is just so that I will hopefully not have missed any spots since I am using double protection. This double protection, does not mean I get a higher total of SPF protection, but I do get the higher of the two and there is a higher chance of not missing any spots.
The serum is a repurchase for me, and I still like it and have no doubts that I would continue repurchasing. While I like to try new things and I always look for drugstore products which suit my needs, I do not see this being replaced that quickly.
The fluid (moisturiser) I have bought after trying a smaller one and do like it, but am getting a little tired of the scent and may look around for others.
If you have not tried the range (I was put off the Detox Oil because of the scent) and I don't love the Eye & Lip Cream (it is alright..... but nothing fancy or life changing), do give these a go. I fell in love with the serum but the fluid was so light that I could not help but include it in my daily routine.
Do try it out or share your experience with me!
