Empties #21

I have been travelling for the month of December, being mainly in England and then travelling to Vienna so a little of the empties featured are travel size products. Life is also a hectic now that I have started working and I will be trialing a new post schedule timing. For now, in 2016, I will try to blog every Tuesday (All About Lips post will continue!) and Fridays, as well as Sundays. Posts are being changed from 13:00 GMT to 09:00 GMT.

Haircare

Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait Shampoo, Dove Hair Therapy Damage Solutions Intense Repair Conditioner
Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait Shampoo, Dove Hair Therapy Damage Solutions Intense Repair Conditioner
Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait Shampoo - I like Scottish Fine Soaps but I think I will stick with the soaps because this shampoo felt a little drying on my hair. It smells gorgeous like the rest of the Au Lait range but I will not be repurchasing. The bottle also leaks.

Dove Hair Therapy Damage Solutions Intense Repair Conditioner - Another one bites the dust, I still have 5 of these so I will continue to use them.

L'oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Conditioner, Garnier Ultimate Blends 1 Minute Treatment The Nourishing Repairer
L'oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Conditioner, Garnier Ultimate Blends 1 Minute Treatment The Nourishing Repairer
L'oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Conditioner - This is actually the bf's empty but he swears by this and has gone through bottles and bottles of this. I guess that says something? His hair is also really soft but that might be down to the short hair, or perhaps it's the conditioner!

Garnier Ultimate Blends 1 Minute Treatment The Nourishing Repairer - My favourite of the Garnier Ultimate Blends 1 Minute Treatment range is this one with avocado. It is really thick and creamy but contains silicones. I have not decided if I will repurchase but this nourishing repairer is the best one!

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo, Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless Cleansing Conditioner
Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo, Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless Cleansing Conditioner
Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo - I used to love this shampoo and still really like the bubble gum smell but my scalp does not agree with it.

Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless Cleansing Conditioner - This is a repurchase and it is really nice but again, my scalp is not exactly very happy with it and I have found that the Deciem HIF cleansing conditioner to be a much better formulation for me. Therefore I will not be repurchasing this one.

John Freida Frizz Ease Daily Miracle Leave-In-Conditioner, Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Heat Defence Spray
John Freida Frizz Ease Daily Miracle Leave-In-Conditioner, Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Heat Defence Spray
John Freirda Frizz Ease Daily Miracle Leave-In-Conditioner - I could not actually see a difference this made to my hair but it smells nice and contains heat protection so I continued to use it. I will not repurchase as I still prefer hair oils and this feels like an extra step that did not really do too  much.

Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Heat Defence Spray - I love the bottle of this but the product smelled so bad to me. It was really strong and just put me off so much. The spritz nozzle is quite fine so I am keeping the bottle for travel. I will not repurchase this!

Perfectly Pure Coconut Oil
Perfectly Pure Coconut Oil
Perfectly Pure Coconut Oil  - I just picked this up at Holland & Barrett because this brand was on sale. As you can see I have not completely finished it but I was moving and had to bin the remainders as it comes in a glass container and I only had the last bit left so it was not worth the hassle of packing it. I do like coconut oil for a good intense scalp and hair treatment. It is what I used it for and I do recommend this because of the good big opening and it is lovely!

Skincare

dermalogica precleanse, Rodial Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Serum, Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
dermalogica precleanse, Rodial Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Serum, Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
dermalogica precleanse - This was actually really lovely to use and it smells lovely (can you tell scent is important to me?) It removes all make up, which is its purpose and then I go in with a second cleanser. I remove this with a damp flannel so there's no oily residue. It is nice but I probably will not repurchase because I still prefer the Shu Uemura Cleansing oil and I am trying out other cleansing oils.

Rodial Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Serum - I won this at a giveaway and this is really, really, really luxe. When I saw the price for the full size I knew I would never be able to afford this. I must say that I have no idea if it did any lifting because I am not the target age group for this and lifting... is not a concern yet. It was a really lovely serum and I used it mainly when I was travelling because it was not harsh at all. I don't know if I can recommend this solely on the price point!

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - I have tried this before and I actually really love this. It is just that I have so many facial oils that I cannot justify buying a full size of this but I certainly will be doing so once I run out... Will I ever run out of any skincare products though.....

Radical Skincare Hydrating Cleanser, Lancome Visionnaire Serum
Radical Skincare Hydrating Cleanser, Lancome Visionnaire Serum
Radical Skincare Hydrating Cleanser - This is a really nice cleanser. Although it says hydrating, it is not exactly a cream, lighter in texture. It is described as a gel cleanser but I would say it is a hybrid between cream and gel. I will not be repurchasing this but it is nice. I just prefer either lighter cleansers or probably balm ones.

Lancome Visionnaire Serum - This is strong stuff! I can actually feel it tingling on my face. The packaging is a little odd in that it just has a long plastic stick sort of applicator. I just remove the product off the stick but I am not sure that I like the applicator. I really rather have a pump bottle or even a dropper style packaging.

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask - This is a really nice sleeping mask. The texture is certainly interesting and it is packed with silicones. I have featured this on my blog before and it is one of the more popular blog posts. I will repurchase this in the future.

Bodycare

Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Lotion
Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Lotion
Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Lotion - Do not be deceived by the plain white packaging, the lotion smells fresh and lovely and even though it is nourishing it is not heavy. I am VERY impressed with this and will look to see if they actually sell body lotions!

Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum, Top Gear 3 in 1 Bonnet Body Boot Wash
Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum, Top Gear 3 in 1 Bonnet Body Boot Wash
Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum - This is such a nice body lotion! I used to save it only for my shoulders and back as it contains ingredients that somewhat smooth and lightens pigmentation. However as I was planning to move I started using it all over and it dries down immediately and feels more pampering than the Deciem Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate which I am majorly loving. I accidentally broke the bottle cap but the packaging is sturdy for plastic and it has a little protective bit at the top which keeps the lotion fresh despite missing a lid! I would gift this or buy it as a treat.

Top Gear 3 in 1 Bonnet Body Boot Wash - This was another one of the bf's empty product but I used to steal a little to use as well. I love the packaging of this and it smells fresh and quite manly so I loved it when he used this too. Not drying, it is a nice shower gel.

Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream
Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream
Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream - On the other hand, this is a more moisturising shower cream and the scent is quite neutral so both men and women can enjoy it. I have repurchased since this bottle!

Random stuff
Aquafresh "my Big teeth" mouthwash
Aquafresh "my Big teeth" mouthwash
Aquafresh "my Big teeth" mouthwash - I purchased this because a lot of mouthwashes burn my mouth and I hate that feeling... However, I would prefer that over the taste of this..... which is a mash between chemical fruit and just plain unpleasant. I gagged many times over this but finally finished it up and my verdict? STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS.

essence nail polish remover, nails inc top coat
essence nail polish remover, nails inc top coat
essence nail polish remover - This is an acetone-free nail polish remover and it actually works surprisingly well and quick at that! I'm binning this one because it is cheap to replace and I really have no space in my suitcase to move with it but I will be repurchasing this one!

nails inc top coat - I am a really bad beauty blogger as I cannot even find out the name because I have binned it and despite some google searches it is not apparent to me. There's nothing on it at all! Anyway, this is an alright top coat, by that I mean it is nothing special and I will not recommend it because you could just buy a rimmel one or a Barry M one and it probably would be similar. I still swear by Seche Vite but have heard that essence is a dupe so that is next on the list!

I hope you have enjoyed this month's empties, which is the last one this year! This also happens to be the last blog post for the year 2015 and thank you all for reading. It has been a lot of fun for me to write and I hope as much fun for you to read. As usual, please comment or tweet me if you want me to review anything or just feedback. Thank you all for a great year and see you next year!
