When I was trying to decide between Wild deodorant and Fussy deodorant, I didn't feel like there was a wealth of information out there and I ended up purchasing Fussy first, and then I also bought Wild.
I then thought, maybe I can offer some information and comparison so other people having similar questions can find out a little more.
I think that in pictures, the Wild deodorant stands out and looks really nice. The aluminium casing has a plastic insert.
Fussy's deodorant holder is made of 100% plastic, which Fussy says is easier to recycle than any mixed materials. I think it is a subtle nod at Wild's plastic + aluminium offering.
For me when it comes to the packaging, Fussy is the clear winner.
1. The twister at the bottom is easier since it is bigger
2. The actual feel of the packaging is nicer and has a matte almost rubbery feel.
3. It is steady enough to stand although when it comes to stability when standing, I think Wild has the edge.
4. I personally think Fussy is prettier.
So overall a 3 out of 4 for Fussy, making it a clear winner on packaging for me.
So when it comes to the actual deodorant, let's delve in.
Wild's deodorant feels creamier when you swipe it on your skin. Fussy's deodorant has a drier and slightly more gritty feel when I swipe it. Just to be clear, both options are not the sensitive versions, just the normal offering which has baking soda.
I personally prefer Wild deodorant for the texture because it just feels more pleasant.
Now I think it will come as no surprise that Wild offers a wider range of scents and I think the scents are nicer as well. I have had a sniff in Tesco (my local Tesco Extra sells both brands) and the scents with Wild just come up top in general for me.
So I must say I struggle with this because I prefer the Fussy packaging and I wish the content was more like Wild.
I think what will end up happening is I will use both, although I find myself gravitating towards Wild more because of the scent and texture, but Fussy will come travelling with me especially when I go to warmer climates because I think it will travel better.
Lastly, I'm unable to tell you on the stink-o-meter, I believe both work equally well. They do keep me feeling dry but do note that these are deodorants and not anti-perspirants.
I hope this helps you decide if you are still unsure and let me know what do you think if you have tried either or both!
